It seems every town has this kind of Chinese restaurant. Menu looked identical to the last one I tried in another state. I will say their crab Rangoon was one of the best I've ever had. Best place around ! The only place that that is comparable is The Number 1 on Allegany Street in Jersey Shore. It is good for take out but not for dining in. The ambiance is par for the coarse for its location in a strip mall, but the food is very good. read more

We ordered the beef and broccoli, and chicken lo mein. Both dishes were over cooked and mushy, and lacked the flavor that we expected with the dishes. We ate a few bites of each and threw the rest away. The Great Wall falls significantly short when compared to any of the other Chinese food options in the area. Not recommended. A no frills Chinese food spot. The food is Delicious. Wontons for the wonton soup are very meaty and the both is very pretty good. The chicken and broccoli is done right - sauce is tasty and the broccoli wasn't overly cooked. It had a decent bite to it. The people running GW are very nice and quick. Plus they are open everyday, not closed on weird days. I would highly recommend this spot. read more

They sent the wrong order and decided to argue with me instead of fixing the problem. Normally I would not say anything about the food, but since they wanted to argue about their screwup, I feel I need to share. The eggrolls were almost burnt and so very greasy. I know they're fried, but this was gross. Ordered dinners with steamed rice and they sent more easy FRIED rice with the dinners. There is nothing authentic about their food. The Moo Shu had no egg and sent flour pancakes. The Vegetables was all celery and onion in the Chinese vegetable mix. Unfortunately, I wish I wish stop there, but there was a layer of oil floating on top when we explicitly asked for light oil. I would have not sent a bad review if they had made half an effort to fix the issue, but they were indignant and didn't care. They got my $60 and that's all that mattered to them!! read more

Our family loves The Great Wall. This is a great take out restaurant. Food is always fresh and hot. Let's start with Customer Service. The little Chinese guy behind the counter taking the order was very rude in his body language, facial expressions and attitude. I would have given this restaurant a four. However, while the orange beef was very tasty and had a little heat to it, the appetizers we ordered were absolutely horrible. We got a shrimp roll and we got a order of crab Rangoon. If those were one times I'm a monkey! There is no way they were wonton. They were so thin you could see outside through them. I don't know if they were rice paper or what they were but they sure as hell were NOT wonton! In the shrimp roll I had one little tiny shrimp that was perhaps the size of a salad shrimp. VERY LITTLE flavor. And the sauce they served with it was horrible. The orange beef was good but did not have a lot of orange flavor and the beef was coated and deep-fried similar to how General Tso's chicken is done. The rice also tasted left over. It wasn't THAT good. Probably won't be back. read more

Great food and awesome lunch specials. Before 3PM, you can get an entree with a side of rice, and soup or soda for under $6 (after tax) and it's enough food for two meals. The food is always great and the delivery is fast. The food is okay. Not as fresh as I like it. I always order chicken and broccoli and egg drop soup. I love it when the broccoli is fresh and still "snaps". I've ordered from here twice and the broccoli isn't all that fresh Nita soggy and no crunch. The egg drop soup is mediocre. I like the egg drop soup to be thicker and have a nice taste to it. Their egg drop soup is very thin and runny. Also very bland. I have also had their plain lo mein. I couldn't eat it. It was gross. It was very sweet and didn't look like any lo men I have ever eaten. Delicious Chinese food! I recommend their general tso chicken and their shrimp egg rolls. Even though the menu is the same as other Chinese restaurants, you can taste the quality.
