    Chicken Lo Mein

The Lo Mein isn't even Lo Mein. Almost looks like thin spaghetti noodles, with almost no flavor. Ordered online, it said 40-50 minutes. Took almost one hour and thirty minutes. Fried rice also no flavor and burnt. Not happy, DO NOT ORDER. Call a real Asian restaurant not one like this. Positive note. LARGE portions.

I give Great Wall Express a very high 3-star rating, which means I'm likely to revisit. The combination dinners are a great deal. For less than $8, you get fried or steamed rice, soup, and your choice of an egg roll, crab rangoon, or spring roll PLUS your main dish. This is enough food to share or eat over several meal periods. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken. While the sauce was perfectly sweet, the quality of the meat was questionable, like the fried chicken skin formed a lot of chewy bits??...but I find that most Chinese restaurants share this quality, so I'm not complaining. I'd order it again! The fried rice didn't taste or look fresh, but it was still good. The service was fast and friendly. Our 2 combination dinners were ready in 10 minutes.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Campus wok was better. Delivery was on time but everything was soggy.

Our new go-to Chinese spot!!…read more This spot is off the beaten path but worth the extra to stop in and try!! Our pupper's groomer is in this plaza complex and so we recently took notice and are so glad we did! On our first visit I didn't think to get pictures but it was a fun visit with a great introduction to the amazingly unique foods they offer at Z&W! This restaurant offers many of the what they call "old fashioned meals" on their menu - orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour, etc... but they also offer an "Authentic Sichuan menu"! During the first visit we had no idea what to get so we asked our waiter for suggestions and guidance! We wanted to try something off of the authentic menu but had no idea what to choose! He was terrific in helping us understand what was popular and what things we might like! There is also a book on each table with pictures of the each of the menu items! AMAZING IDEA!!! We ended up ordering the Dry Chili Beef and the Kingpao Sichuan chicken. Both were delicious but VERY spicy! For me personally, next time I go with a spicy dish (it was indicated as spicy on the menu, the waiter did explain) I need to ask them to tone down the spice level for my palate! Each of the authentic menu items comes with white rice, fried rice is available for an additional cost. These items do not include a side. The star of the visit was the appetizer of crab meat rangoons! WHOA!!! They are huge and fresh and SO stinking tasty! Ours came out so hot that the fresh, crispy shell burned my lip a little bit - but in a good way! I can't remember the last time I had Chinese food that was SO fresh!! Definitely consider ordering the rangoons!! Our second visit we decided to try the old fashioned menu - we ordered the orange chicken and the General Tao's chicken. These dishes come with rice AND a side! If you choose rangoons for the side you get TWO!!! Totally my choice as I already knew from my first visit that they were next level!! My husband ordered the egg roll which was actually crazy delicious!! It's a difficult decision! You can also choose soup in place of either of those options! We added a side of hot and sour soup to share which tasted very authentic and delicious! This spot is so cute and the staff is SO very friendly with warm, welcoming service! This is definitely a great place to grab lunch or dinner and we can't wait to get back to try out more of their highly delectable menu items!

We love Hunan!!…read more We've had so many solid experiences here and everything we've tried has been excellent!! We've gotten our whole family on to loving this spot! A few favorites: house crispy chicken, moo shu beef, egg rolls, wonton soup, and sweet and sour soup, amongst others!! :) After being seated you are greeted with a pot of yummy hot tea and "crispies" with dip, included with your meal! LOVE this perk!! Adding a soup to your entree is highly recommended, their soups are so, so good!! We love both the egg rolls and the crab meat Rangoons - it's hard to choose!! The egg rolls come out so fresh and hot you can't even eat it right away - love this so much!! We've had many of their entrees over the years and everything has been very good! They are consistent so you know what to expect and it keeps us coming back to try something new! This is a cozy little spot to get a solid Chinese meal, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff, you'll want to check it out for yourself!!

They have a separate menu that is authentic and traditional Chinese dishes so ask for that and they are happy to grab one for you. They have the usual, "American" Chinese food on their menu. We came for lunch and they have Luncheon specials. Entree, soup (egg drop, hot and sour, or wonton), fried rice and choice of crab rangoon or eggroll.
