I called and they said they had a cancellation two days later if I could make that appointment. I took that appointment. When I arrived at the office two days later, they told me I could not be seen and that they left me a voicemail about needing a referral, which I don't need under my insurance. I confirmed they could not see my newborn and left with my screaming newborn. They were insistent on having left me voicemails, but when they read my cell phone number back to me, they had the wrong number on file, so someone else received the voicemails. Perhaps they should confirm contact details. To continuously insist they had left me a voicemail in a rude tone when I had told them I didn't was very frustrating. Do they really think I would get a cancellation voicemail and then cart my screaming newborn to their office for the fun of it? Pretty annoying when you help out by taking a cancellation and they don't have their ducks in a row as to what is needed for an appointment and then they leave a voicemail on the wrong number and you've carted your newborn around for no reason. Super unprofessional, and frankly, the ladies at the front desk were super rude instead of apologetic since they had messed up. I will not be going back here as they are clearly incompetent and recommend you look elsewhere as well. If this is how they treat a prospective new client, how would they treat you once you're actually a client? I don't want to find out.

I am very particular about my…read moreDoctors/Dentists, and even though I have moved further away I still come to his office on a regular basis. When I first visited Dr. Simons I had not been to a dentist in over a year and wanted to find the right dentist and establish a place to go. So needless to say I was a little hesitant at 1st to have him do anything except teeth cleaning. Since I had not been in over a year they they used a 'power scaling' device to clean all the tarter. I went back on a regular basis - actually every 3 months to make sure I was on track. I think I waited until at least a year or two to go by before I actually had him do any work on my teeth. He was very consultative in his approach, conservative and giving me options along the way over the past 25 years. I had some cavities that had been filled for many years. We replaced some of them slowly. We also did inline work, and finally when I split a molar that had a major filling in it we capped that (emergency visit - did a temp same day!). He does beautiful work, always up on the latest technology that is available (but tested). Eventually I started to replace all my molars that had large fillings with caps - before they split. We were conservative and did two a year. His hygienists are both awesome, knowledgeable, great to answer questions and always there to help. His office manager is on top of all the insurance and made sure any reimbursements were taken care of. Professionals all around. I can highly recommend Dr. Simons and his team, they will not let you down!

This week we are in Boston for some family visits. I called his office seeing if I could possibly get a last-minute appointment while we're here because I needed some work done. Not only did he get me in for a last-minute appointment, he spent two hours with me in the chair. I swear I feel like a new person. He did an incredible job as usual. He also replaced a filling for my husband who came with me without an appointment. He is without a doubt THE best dentist in the north shore area!!!! And he is not only a great dentist, he is a very compassionate and caring person.

Over the past two months, Dr. Roz has done two crowns on my teeth. She is friendly, accommodating and has a wonderful, cheerful chairside manner. In addition, my procedures--which I was dreading--went better than I anticipated. They were pain free, and Dr. Roz checked with me often to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. I'd also like to shoutout to Dr. Roz's assistant, Amy. She is also great!

That's not true. They don't have that. Also, according to the dental hygienist, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. YOU MUST SUBMIT TO THE X-RAY!! Ya, I told both the hygientist and dentist that need to work on their informed consent. I was going to walk out but then they had the dentist do the cleaning instead. That dentist definitely needs to stick to his day job - which shouldn't be dentistry. He kept dropping the instruments on my arm. When he flossed my teeth, he couldn't really get the floss between some of the teeth. Apparently they aren't equipped with sinks so you get have to swallow or get vacuumed up - which he didn't really know how to do. Family Dental is basically what's wrong with dentistry. It's about the money they can get out of you. Not you or your health.
