Online quoting is convenient, if a bit fussy going back and forth, but sending accurate pictures of the job is important. Pricing seemed fair. Our only problem with our initial project was the timing of arrival. Stephen arrived about an hour and a half after the appointed time. Stephen did text to let us know he was unavoidably delayed, and it appeared to be one of those things and not representative of their usual service. We are going to try them again on another painting project and are confident it will go smoothly.

I needed to…read moreput my window air conditioner up and contacted Midtown, in less than an hour Al responded and said Alex would be contacting me today. I had no idea it would be so quick, but I was grateful as Toronto was going through its usual summer heatwaves, that sucks the life out of everyone. Alex contacted me shortly afterwards and we set the appointment for the next day. Alex showed up on time and more than prepared. Alex was a very nice and friendly man, who is not only professional but gives off a welcoming vibe of friendliness. It was a pleasure having Alex and Midtown Handyman respond so quickly and do such a professional job. I am a FAN ( see what I did their FAN / air conditioner, lol) and I will definitely be using their services again!

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS***…read more I hired Mike and his assistant (sister I believe?) over 2 years ago.. huge mistake! I had hired him to install a light fixture, mount a Dyson charger to the wall and 2 light fixtures in the bedroom. Within a couple days the Dyson fixture fell out of the wall, both light fixtures crooked and falling out within a week. Turns out he didn't use plugs or anything and tried to mount these things loose in the drywall. On top of that the main light fixture in the kitchen was crooked as well. I reached out to Mike and he had promised to come fix it and correct the mistakes, he then started no showing and cancelling our made appointments. It got to the point where he was saying he would come at a specific time and date and would just no show without a phone call or email. After months of back and forth he finally blocked my number. After getting a hold of his sister or whoever it may be (through a different number) she promised to have him reach out, when he did yet again another no show! They then promised to reimburse me for the initial flat rate + hourly I paid for 2 people.. that never happened and once again blocked and ignored my calls. 2 years later I've been completely ripped off, my walls damaged and then my time wasted by Mike. Avoid at all costs as this was a complete nightmare.

Danny's work is high quality, and his diverse skill set is invaluable. For example, he expertly fixed uneven walls before painting, delivering superior results compared to typical painting companies.
