I had hired him to install a light fixture, mount a Dyson charger to the wall and 2 light fixtures in the bedroom. Within a couple days the Dyson fixture fell out of the wall, both light fixtures crooked and falling out within a week. Turns out he didn't use plugs or anything and tried to mount these things loose in the drywall. On top of that the main light fixture in the kitchen was crooked as well. I reached out to Mike and he had promised to come fix it and correct the mistakes, he then started no showing and cancelling our made appointments. It got to the point where he was saying he would come at a specific time and date and would just no show without a phone call or email. After months of back and forth he finally blocked my number. After getting a hold of his sister or whoever it may be (through a different number) she promised to have him reach out, when he did yet again another no show! They then promised to reimburse me for the initial flat rate + hourly I paid for 2 people.. that never happened and once again blocked and ignored my calls. 2 years later I've been completely ripped off, my walls damaged and then my time wasted by Mike. Avoid at all costs as this was a complete nightmare.

Stephen did text to let us know he was unavoidably delayed, and it appeared to be one of those things and not representative of their usual service. The handyman showed up right on time and was efficient, friendly, neat, and very well-organized. He started by applying one coat of paint to the bathroom walls, telling me right from the start that, in his experience, it was going to need three coats to cover the colour underneath. Since I had been given a quote for two coats, this would be a bit extra to the estimate. Once the first coat of paint had been applied, he installed the curtain rods and hung the curtains for me. The installation is now very sturdy and the place looks much nicer. He then went back and did the second coat of paint. He had me take a look at it after, to decide whether I was OK with it as it was, or if I would like the third coat. Although there is a very, very slight remnant of the former colour, I decided that I was OK with that because otherwise everything in the room would be too white. Overall, I am very pleased with the result. He was extremely neat and cleaned up after himself, although I didn't see that he made any mess anyway. I guess the only downside for me is that I find their prices a bit on the high side and that's my reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. However, in fairness, I should probably have asked more questions beforehand and/or had more than one company give me an estimate. I recognize that things in general are a lot more expensive these days.
