By mid-afternoon, Jim and his son arrived and got to work. Glad I called them as they found the p-trap was rotted, the hot water line had no shutoff valve, nor did the water line for the fridge ice maker. Jim explained what needed to be done, I agreed, and they worked quickly and quietly, keeping the area clean. An hour later, it's all done and my kitchen looks like they were here, except for my new faucet and sprayer, along with beautiful pipe/fitting work on the lines under the sink. The price felt right for the work they did. They have always been friendly and professional and it looks like his son is learning well as he was as nice as Jim. Fortunately it was making so much noise and I happened to be home that not too much damage was cause. However I was concerned about a fire hazard as the gas burner was still going as the water left in the tank and it was starting to boil off and was sending steam all over the place. I called Raymond for immediate help as I needed to figure how to shut everything off When I called, rather than helping I was told someone would come in 4 or 5 hours. Even when I explained I needed immediate help to shut everything down and turn off the valves Raymond could not help and told me to call someone else. Fortunately I was able to find another Plummer who walked me through shutdown and I was able to save my basement from flooding. Later I called back to see if Raymond would come out and look at their faulty work and repair. Raymond said they would not come out. We had someone else fix up their mistakes. In the end we came out okay but it could have be a disaster and it is clear thar Raymond has no interest in standing behind their work. We had used them for all or heating, cooling and plumbing for over 10 years but never again. Beware of these guys and use someone else! Here are photos of their poor work!

They asked me a few questions about what kind of service I needed, told me the estimate was free and we were off. They set up a time at my convience. The day of my appointment, they called and texted me about 15 minutes before they arrived. In The text they gave me the technicians name and a little background on him. His picture also. Dylan arrived on time he looked very professional, was courteous and seemed very knowledgeable. He assessed the task and gave me an estimate in about ten minutes after he arrived. It took him about an hour or so to install my new toilet ( that I had already purchased before hand). The work was A1. Cleaned up after the work was done and took the old toilet with him also. I had some major issues with my sanitary sewer line clogging and I called up Jake from Reith…read morePlumbing for an estimate to repair the line. He first came out to do a preliminary estimate and said I needed to schedule another visit to have his guy do some inspection with a sewer camera because the pipe was so far down under my driveway. (No charge for the first visit.) A week later he came out with Jeff from Bulldog Sewer Cleaning to diagnose my problem. Jake and Jeff worked really well together to diagnose the issue I was having with my plumbing. They didn't mind me hovering around to check on the progress and view the camera footage either. Jake and Jeff were at my house for 3 hours working hard to camera and clean out my lines from both the basement and driveway and extract the big rocks and gravel that were impeding the flow. I was more than happy to let them borrow my shop vac to clean out the shale and limestone pebbles. The 3 previous plumbing/rooter companies that I called out to diagnose and estimate the repair didn't figure out the root cause of the issue and instead said that I needed to have my driveway dug up and the ground excavated to replace the sanitary line 8' down. These estimates ranged from $6k-$13k and that's didn't include concrete to fix my driveway after the repair!! Wtf?! Jake was a cool guy and very honest and upfront with everything. Pricing was very reasonable for all the work they did to clean my pipes out to get them free-flowing once again. When it came time to pay up, I was surprised to see that everything was done on his phone and a copy of the invoice was emailed to me. I'm all about saving trees, so that was a nice plus! Jake and Jeff saved me thousands of dollars by diagnosing the root cause of the issue correctly and I cannot thank them enough! I won't hesitate to call Reith Plumbing for any future plumbing issues that I can't tackle on my own! Great small business with a great owner who cares about getting the job done right!

Upon completion, however, it took 9 hours for the power company to finish the connection. Definitely not Great Lakes electric's issue so can't count that against them. Downside of the entire thing which warrants four stars is that they did not label the panel like the contract states. I got the run around with it and just ended up doing it myself after nearly a month of waiting. I'd still recommend them though even with that little issue at the end.
