I took pictures of the chimney and the damage. He was able to give me an exact estimate by my photos. It took a couple times of communicating with Ken or his wife before the job was done due to the weather. They made sure to contact me anytime they had to reschedule due to rain. They did the work in one day. They contacted me before and after the work was completed. My FIL loves to watch. Ken never even complained about all the questions or concerns. When our job was next in line, we gave them half of the cost up front however not knowing him I did feel comfortable he came to pick up the deposit and left his equipment there so I felt good about that. I would recommend Ken's Chimney repair for any chimney or brick repair. His quality is amazing. You cannot even tell when the new brick was added. Adam, the guy who was in charge of the scam project showed up in his pajamas to collect the cash when the job was "finished". After noticing how much mortar was left on the new bricks Adam sent someone back to my house to "resolve" the issue. Whatever chemical they used to remove the mortar from the new bricks made its way onto my garage doors and ate through the paint. Not only did I get scammed out of a ridiculous amount of money for the work they did, but I had to repaint my garage doors. To put this in perspective, the materials cost the company no more than $200. Adam promised me extensive repair of lintels that were causing structural issues to my house. Instead of that, no lintels were repaired and his guys simply replaced brickwork. When I say that his workers were at my house for a few hours, I'm not exaggerating. Seriously the worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. ZERO stars
