Order a drink and people watch, or enjoy the Mountain View's. Drink slow- it's a little pricey for a cocktail

We ended up at the bar because you needed a reservation at the restaurants for lunch- or which we didn't have. It actually worked out great because we were able to take our food and go sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous view! We ordered some things that were delicious - a grilled cheese (which I never order) three cheese, bacon, dill, tomato soup and a smashed burger- american cheese, LTO, burger sauce and pickle with the burger. We topped it off with a Blue Moon (beer) and a Kendall-Jackson, Chardonnay, Vintner's Reserve, California. The view was to die for. We had nice seats on the patio and a nice man asked if we wanted to sit under his umbrella with him since it was very hot. That was so nice and so appreciated. We talked to him for over an hour and exchanged numbers after. My husband and I would like to stay in touch! The bartenders who helped us was very nice and very friendly and that was a plus. Food was ready in 10 minutes which was great! And it was good too! It's worth a try especially if you want to sit outside the beautiful Omni Grove Park Inn.

You can order at the great hall bar and eat/drink inside the lobby or outside on the terrace. The views of the mountains are incredible & the food and drinks are delicious! The charcuterie and wings were so delicious we had them 2-3 times during our stay for lunch. Warm crab dip is also another filling option to eat. For drinks the white Pinot Grigio is very refreshing for a sunny day and the red Syrah is warm & cozy for sunset or a late night drink. They have a special Makers Mark Whiskey made exclusively & only for Omni Grove Park Inn Resort. Pricey at $30 a glass but a special experience in an old fashioned. You can also order classic drinks not listed on the menu such as a Dirty Martini or a Bloody Mary with all the fixings. I highly recommend The Great Hall Bar for anyone visiting or staying at The Omni Resort!

Are the drinks expensive? Of course. But the view is just unbeatable and the interior is spectacular Craftsman. Largest fireplace in America - there are actual two- one wood, one gas. Totally worth it.

Just one of the amazing fireplaces in the Great Hall of the Grove Park Inn....with my great gal Becky enjoying it.

OMG....This place is huge and AMAZING. If you're looking for a view and relaxation this is the place to be. The 7 restaurants and bars along with breath taking mountain views and on top of that a 48000 square foot underground spa that allows absolutely no electronic devices is amazing. O... I almost forgot about the gold course and pool .... WOW. If you can't relax here you're just way too wound up and need chill lessons :)

Walking into The Crow & Quill feels like stepping into a moody, time-warped speakeasy -- antiques,…read moredark corners, and soft lighting all set a tone that's equal parts gothic and cozy. Inside, the bar's massive spirits collection (over 1,000 bottles, including some rare whiskies) backs up its reputation for top-tier, creative cocktails. If you're in Asheville and in the mood for something atmospheric, unique, and whiskey-forward -- somewhere to soak in character and good drinks rather than sleek modern bar polish -- Crow & Quill is absolutely worth checking out.

The Times is easily my favorite bar in Asheville -- truly a five-star, can't-miss spot. On my first…read moretrip back in July, I found myself coming here every night for a drink, and on this work trip I did the exact same thing. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. Their espresso martini is probably the best I've ever had -- perfectly balanced, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Every bartender here is incredibly knowledgeable. They can make anything you ask for and then walk you through the history and origins of the cocktail like you're getting a mini masterclass with your drink. The bar itself is beautiful, with an impressive selection of spirits and a menu full of creative cocktails featuring ingredient combinations you'd never expect to work together -- but somehow they absolutely do. It's also one of the best places in the city to sit back and people-watch while enjoying a perfectly made drink. Do not skip The Times -- honestly, it's worth going out of your way to stop there.

Service was good, it wasn't very busy so pretty easy to walk up and order. I would have loved to try an espresso martini from here but I didnt want to risk not being able to fall asleep (Im getting old). They have indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor is pretty casual with small tables. Indoor decor is fun, halloween-y, and dark. They have a huge selection of liquor, so everyone will be able to find something they like. Sounds like they change their menu frequently so there is always something new to try.
