My chief complaint as a patient was addressed correctly and expeditiously. I was mostly alone during my treatments and I did try and attempted to use the home theraband suggestion home stretches seriously and Ice packed the off site pain management advices suggested by accredited Physical Therapists. I've tried reflexology natur/oPathy massage (like Massage eNVy), but the pain became intolerable between working two jobs, attending two colleges same time, while - - also being a new parent. Scheduling options was not disparaging and it's never a stigma to get help when you honestly need to get help. I did have uncovered unpaid balances for missing appointments due to both scholastic and two jobs schedule conflicts, in which in compliance I've paid in full and out of pocket. They accepted both HMO - and PPO- base insurance/s. Overall my personal experience in this facility was ok, I did not get injured after walking out of Jackson physical therapy clinic and their Staff were sufficient and demeanors were friendly and not rude professionals.

This practice also offers a strength coach Jason Arnett, who has a storehouse of exercises and a personality that makes the process enjoyable. The front office staff is efficient and helpful. About the location itself, I immediately was aware of how friendly and attentive all the people there seemed to be. The facility itself is attractive, full of light, and has a very positive vibe to it. About the therapy, my therapist knew more about the anatomy and movement of the knee and surrounding areas than I could imagine. He performed a series of massages, movements, exercises, and other treatments explaining at each step what it was meant to accomplish. He was very clear about how to approach the rehab process and answered every question I had. He also laid out a carefully thought out home exercise program that I followed fully. My recovery has progressed very well and exceeded expectations. It has been an excellent experience and I highly recommend VTFC and Larry Grine as a PT.

Let me just tell you that I'm SO glad I found her. She literally is the best! The United Wellness facilities are really nice especially since they moved to Reston. The lady at the front could be nicer, but she is efficient and gets stuff done. I also like that I can get in and out quickly, by them charging my card on file for a pre-selected tip amount as well. The only downside to this place is they do not medical bill for massage therapy. They need to change that! Convenience is key! As for G, I've had a lot of massages and they always feel good and are relaxing, but there is something much more special about her. I believe her background is nursing and let me just tell you she definitely didn't miss anatomy class and probably was at the top of her class! She massages out kinks and muscles i didn't know i had. Because I see her for medical massage therapy, it can hurt at times, but always in a good way, because after i leave, the areas that were a problem are loosened and feel amazing...literally every time. Ive also seen her for enough sessions that i'm starting to see long term loosening - i.e. its getting better and easier as my body going back to the looseness it should be. I also did acupuncture before this, which worked for me, but the therapy with her works better. I can't recommend her highly enough. I left there dead lifting 65 pounds and having a huge knowledge base around how human body functions, how the mind influences it and how to work with pain influence and create a MUCH happier body. This is all with the help of Dr. Stephen Henry and his assistants Stephanie and Ally. They all took such good care of me, and provided loads of laughs and tons of compassion. Dr. Henry is a wealth of knowledge on the mechanics of the muscles and skeleton. I was able to understand the basics of posture, sleep and movement from him that I have never gained from past PT experiences. So that I can continue outside of the clinic. Stephanie and Ally always helped me remember the movements and postures, so the reinforcement of techniques came form the entire clinic. For example, I went to the gym the other day and did exactly what they did with me for months on end, as a part of my work out routine. After the elliptical I was on auto-pilot with the stretches and toning exercises used in PT to end my work out with ease. Thanks a million Pivot Physical Therapy for all your care and guidance!

I have been a patient with Dr Babcock for many years now and she was recommended to me by a…read moredifferent Dr after I was deteriorating rapidly with debilitating pain that had me go from active, healthy runner to almost completely wheelchair bound. I had seen many Drs and specialists and no one could tell me what was wrong. She did many tests and over time she diagnosed me with a rare connective tissue disease and a type of nerve damage that doesnt show up on nerve conduction studies. If no one can tell you why you are in pain please consider seeing Dr Babcock. She has really improved my quality of life. There are some treatments she offers that are paid out of pocket but it's what has helped and until insurance catches up with these new treatments thats what we chronically ill people are forced to deal with but she also works with many patients that cannot afford those. She has always just offered treatments and never pressured me or tried to sell me on something that I didn't want. She's also extremely professional and when my kid was going through questioning his gender identity she was caring and used the correct pronouns and was respectful of my kids wishes. She's very caring and kind and I always tell people she's like a female Dr house without the meanness. Shes so smart and you can see her putting everything you've told her into a puzzle in her mind. She's always taking in what I'm telling her and trying to find a solution or treatment or test that will help me. It took 12 years to find out that my pain isn't "in my head" and has a physical cause. Many Drs didn't seem to want to listen to me but Dr B always takes her time with me and has never given up on my difficult to diagnose case. Some other Drs I go to haven't even heard of the disease I have and tell me they don't even know what it is. So idk where I would be without her. The biggest problem she seems to have is keeping staff like nurses and front desk employees and I think a good office manager would help her stay more organized. She's always doing everything and fixing mistakes over and over which I'm sure is frustrating for everyone. I try to come in with my expectation that she's going to be juggling a bunch of stuff and it might take some time. I see her fitting in patients and treatments for them all of the time. She seems to have trouble keeping staff and I think it's hard because her location is a long commute for many nurses and staff so they don't seem to stay a very long time. A few have been there a while but I think the rotating staff have made things difficult the past few years. We do have times where they don't have a medicine for a treatment and we have to reschedule or a new staff member makes a mistake on the scheduling and that can be frustrating but it seems to happen at most of my Drs these days and they are trying to help as many people as possible! Her office sees so many complex and difficult cases and she is always working so hard for her patients. I really think if you have been to Drs and have a mystery illness that they can't tell you what's going on it's worth giving her a try. It took some time but I slowly got some of my life back and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Dr Babcock and her team!

Office staff do NOT answer the phone, do NOT return voicemail inquiries, and do NOT respond to email. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone. There is evidently a patient portal wherein you can email Dr. Babcock directly. But the link to the portal is NOT listed on the Artius website. It's a shame.
