I specifically requested vacuuming and cleaning of upholstery, floor mats, and dashboard. I had some severe upholstery staining. I didn't expect the stains to fully come out, but it's clear that they didn't even TRY to clean them, even a little. The upholstery was not even damp. And there are floor and other areas that are still FILTHY. This place is awful. This is what my car interior still looks like $48 plus tip later. What a ripoff. UPDATE: I just noticed that the cashier, "Sergio," never specified "upholstery cleaning" on my receipt. I don't know if it was supposed to be included in the original package, but I do recall I had tried to pay for just the $16 basic wash and all other services à la carte because I wanted certain ones (upholstery cleaning) and not others (clearcoat and fancy tire treatments). He said the $40 wash package had everything I needed except the interior mats, which I could add à la carte, so I did that. But he also seemed not very attentive to what I was asking for. I had to keep repeating my specific cleaning requests -- and yet still ended up with a dirty car.

To say that he exceeded expectations is an understatement. I can't believe how clean my car looks and how clean the inside smells. This car hasn't been washed in three months until Francisco worked his magic today. When I saw it I was shocked that my car could still get cleaned up that nicely. But that goes to show you how meticulous and professional Francisco is with his work, completely thorough and also extremely reasonably priced for the quality of work and time spent on the vehicle. More on that in a minute. I hired him for a very difficult job of making brand new a very unusual and challenging vehicle, a sportsmobile, which is a Ford Econoline van converted into a small 4x4 RV. This vehicle has a lot of little compartments and all sorts of books and crannies, and it had never been cleaned inside. Dave and his family worked on the vehicle for half a day when I was away at work, and was in touch with me numerous times about different aspects of the job, and did an amazing job, see pictures attached. What REALLY surprised me and made me sure to ONLY go to him for all my detail needs in the future, besides the high quality of his work, was something that happened during the detail. Now I was having this done on my fathers vehicle, and I thought I had cleaned it out prior, emptied all the drawers and took all the personal belongings out, but what I had missed and hadn't seen something my father had stashed and forgotten about, and I had no idea it was there, was an envelope full of cash! He texted me after I asked him how everything everything was going, and he said he had found a stash of cash! Yes, he found an unknown to us envelope full of money, and immediately let me know! Now I know everyone should report these things and not keep them, but I believe it's rare to actually have someone do the right thing in that situation and give the cash back to who it belongs to, us! He could have kept the cash and we would have never known about it, but he didn't, he told us and returned it, and I think that is amazing. People like that are very rare these days and he deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated for it. Most of the jobs were for full PPF + ceramic coating of new vehicles, but they've also performed a couple of non-PPF paint correction, detailing, and ceramic coating work on well-used vehicles not eligible for PPF. In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. Excellent and lasting results, great people, convenient location, and timely scheduling. We'll see them again soon!

It's 20 bucks. If they can't cop up to it they're still getting paid so the guy pocketed 20 bucks. I hope he feels good about it, but I'm gonna give the tickets to wait to somebody else it's not worth it.
