When I arrived the technician attempted to up sale to the next level but I told her just the bath and brush this time. She printed a page and highlighted where to sign, which I did. When I arrived to pickup my dog the additional service was charged. I told the groomer that's not what I ordered or what we discussed. The grooming mgr said it must have picked up from the last time I was here but I signed the contract and had to pay. I spoke to the store manager, showed him my order but his response was you signed the contract. Long story short, my last time there and a number of my friends are canceling their trip there as well.

As you can see on her chest, I have no idea what they did. There's a big section cut real short and then they didn't even try to even out the rest of the hair to make it look better. They just covered it with a scarf. when I got home and started looking at the dog, I saw the place on her chest, so I called to inquire what happened and the Groomer just screamed at me telling me that I had a bad attitude and I must be on drugs and that he didn't know what happened to the dog after I left there. As a courtesy I even tipped him before I left there and he still acted like a jerk talking to me. He wouldn't even let me speak. He just kept talking. I finally had to just hang up on him. Toni i

When Muddy Paws first opened it was better. An independent, small business that locals are eager to…read moresupport. Sadly, this place has gone downhill. The owner/manager lady comes off a little rude and burnt out. She almost seems annoyed when you walk in. In her defense, owning a business can be difficult and exhausting and burn-out is real! We all know life is hard and it's easy to get feeling stressed out and overwhelmed. Doing a job day in and day out, it's hard to maintain the same level of professionalism and service people expect. All of us would do well to step back, reassess and try to see things thru the customers eyes. A couple things: 1. The shop is dirty. It needs a good cleaning. A dirty pet groomers shop doesn't inspire confidence in a pet owner. Our pets are our children, after all! I should add that the inside smells like cigarettes. 2. Every time I've taken our dog in for a nail trim they are cut too short. The groomer routinely has to apply a medicine balm to stop bleeding or prevent infection to one or two nails. This last (and final) time I brought my dog in she cut her nails so short that one bled out for a half an hour (and got blood all over my car seats and new floors at home). I understand occasionally going too short but it's practically EVERY time. When my wife called to complain the woman was defensive and unapologetic. It's better to admit your mistakes and apologize. Accountability goes a long way with people rather than foolish pride.
