My wife scheduled yesterday for today via phone call. They said their computers are down and couldn't find her in the system. They didn't do anything to try and make it right. I told the lady that I wanted a blunt and long layers but instead I got a like half an inch longer than a bob cut and the layers were really short. she asked me a few questions about my day. but other than that the hair cut was not what I asked for. read more

I have been coming to this location for 3+ years and this is might be my last visit. I've had some small issues before but today I came in and was there for over an hour, when I left work the online checking said 20 minute. I got there there was one other person waiting and I thought great I'll be in and out As one stylist finished up she decided to straighten all her stuff, then sweep the whole store floor and it really appeared she moved as slow as possible a few people came in to check in and she told them 1 hour 36 minutes then 1 hour 45 minutes ( they left) A few more people came in and were signed in After 1 hour I left. Just as I was getting ready to leave Emily took me and did my cut, she apologized for the excessive wait and was very sweet and tried very hard to make sure I was happy, left it hadn't been for her this would be a terrible review I'll probably go back back but if I see Emily's coworker when I do I may leave I'll look for a new place to cut my hair read more

I walked into the salon and was almost immediately greeted, even though it was fairly busy. The lady that greeted me and signed me in at the front counter was kind and gave me an accurate wait time. My stylist's name was Linda and she was wonderful! She didn't have her own personal tools (because life happens) but another stylist was generously sharing hers. Linda messed up a little bit on the design of my v-shaped undercut but I challenged her to do something she hadn't done before. After all, hair does grow back. She went into the cut confident and wanted to help me accomplish my hair style goals and reminded me that I can get it touched up for $5. She was incredible friendly; I'll be asking for her every time I need a cut! I gave 4 starts because the first time I came to this location, I didn't have the most pleasant experience. I wasn't greeted in a friendly manner but it wasn't busy. Two stylists seemed bummed that I walked in. The stylist who ended up cutting my hair and whose name I do not recall, didn't seem confident and sent me off with what I thought was an evenly cut head of hair. Some chunks of hair were missed and awkwardly longer than the rest of my hair. I ended up going elsewhere to get it fixed. But hey, I'm glad I believe in second chances because I met Linda who was very sweet. Plus, the prices at Great Clips are very affordable. read more

Every stylist I've had has done good work, very friendly staff, clean environment, all around enjoyable experience.

Usually my go to place. Mens basic hairstyle, not that difficult. Well, don't ask for something that isn't what they have in your profile in their computer. I wanted to leave it longer than my ususal cut, but this "stylist" really wasn't LISTENING to what I wanted. When I asked her to fix something - she did not make the correction I requested - she grabbed the clippers and ZIIIIPPPP - made it WORSE. Seriously, over the 7-8 years I have gone here, I have had easily a dozen stylists and usually no problems. This is terrible and now I have to go find someone to try to fix this disaster without having to shave my head... My recommendation - go elsewhere, that's the only way this business will get the message that they are experiencing a quality control problem!! read more

I have been going there for numerous years. Lately, have not been satisfied with the quality of the work, especially on my kids. We had the worst experience with my son who just turned five. I asked for a trim, showed a picture of him with the way I liked his previous haircut, but the women just cut it the way she wanted to. She cut off his beautiful curls. I cannot express how devastated he and I are. He is the one of my two boys, until now, who really enjoyed getting his hair cut. Now when people see him they comment on how sad it is that I chopped off his beautiful blond locks. It is destroyed his self esteem...he just turned five. I would not wish this on anyone. If only his hairstylist would have taken the time to listen to me. It would have saved us a lot of tears and deep sadness. My older son has had two really bad haircuts there as well. read more

Had the worst experience there, they had really inappropriate music on & I had to send my kids to the restroom so they could change it. While I was standing there they called my sons name & immediately called another name without giving me the chance to answer. When I questioned them about it, they said I would be next. Then they called another name & skipped over it again! When I asked why, Monica said I was "causing a scene" & talked very rude & gave me even more rude looks. Sad cause I've been going there so long for my sons haircuts & never had a problem before. It was really crazy & even scared my kids! Sad that customer service has come to this. read more

I took my daughter in to get her hair cut and decided to do mine too. I don't usually come here but ZI have used them once or twice before I mainly use them to get my daughters and grand kids hair cut.I have a "go to" style that I have a pic of and just show it to my regular guy or where ever I go if I am in a hurry. I showed it to the girl and she giggle and said something to the effect of "I don't think so " I thought maybe I didn't hear her correctly so I went on to explain, heavy layers and feathered. when she was done all 10 minutes later she had don't a not so good job of layering and no feathering or face framing. Being it was my daughters birthday, I didn't make a scene, I just paid and we left to go have dinner. I will go to my regular place and get it fixed BUT, since I am the one that pays for the hair cuts in the family no one will be going there any more. I don't know if the girl didn't realize you can take more time and charge more and buy the way I usually tip $10.or more  if I am happy with the cut. She will just have to keep wearing those cute but worn out kicker boots. Don't go there if you want anything more than dead ends trimmed off. I found out yesterday my daughter was not satisfied with the haircut but it being her birthday and that she insisted on going there she didn't want to bring it up. An after thought, I really think the girl new she did a bad job, usually they offer their card when they are done so you use them again. that was a waste of $28. total loss, I could have accomplished more by sitting at home burning it in my fireplace. read more

Warning! Take you hair styling needs elsewhere!! When i walked into the Great Clips for a quick hair style before an important event, I was greeted by 3 stylists each spinning around in their chairs shooting the breeze. No problem there, sometimes business can be slow, I get it. When I asked about getting someone to curl my hair (15 min job max), I was told that their boss was there and they were having a $7 promotion on hair cuts and "cant be distracted with other stuff while their boss was there'. I then asked to see their boss and was told that she wasn't there. Confused and apalled that their behavior, I promptly left. Awful!! read more

About 1/2 the time I go there, I get prompt service but the other half, if I don't "check in" online, I get ignored until I ask when will I be next and then it's always "20 minutes". Okay, so I check in online, get there and they tell me it will be 30 minutes so I wait. after 20 minutes, when others are going ahead of me, I asked where I'm at and they had taken my name of the list because while I was waiting, my check-in expired...how much longer now..."about 20 minutes". I honestly have no idea how I feel about my visit. The wait was extremely long but thats my fault for not using the app I suppose. Kaliah cut my hair and though I think she did a good job as a whole. The experience was just kind of off. She hardly said anything to me and I dont think even came close to a smile. She went off the last persons notes which she showed me and to be honest it looked more like a math problem then directions leaving I think, Both of us confused. But I trusted her. I can tell she knows what she is doing. My fade looks fantastic but honestly I'm a little shook on how much off the top she took off. She didn't even ask me. Then she started to part my hair in the different direction then I walked in with ( not blaming her for that, it might of been in those "notes") I'm just upset because I'm trying to grow my hair out and she easily just took of an inch of it. I love this place. Been going for over a year now but I think I just need to be more knowledgeable of hair and learn the lingo. No shade to Kaliah at all. We all have bad days. She may have been having one. My hair looks good and I would sit in her chair again. read more
