I brought my son in (5 years old) for his first ever "salon" haircut…read moreI was told on the phone by the owner that the cost would be $12. I arrive early and very excited! The stylist was very rushed and used clippers after I'd asked for a scissor cut. My son has super thick and curly(ish) hair. His hair was WAS amazing!!! She zipped through the cut and it was horrendous. (I will add pictures) I cried. She was uninterested... she just kept going Then charged me $15... $3 more than I was told Once I was home and realized how bad the cut truly was (lopsided, uneven, undone, missed pieces, shaved/clippers on one side all the way up to the top of his head while the other side the ength was to his ear) I emailed the owner. She apologized and offered for me to come in the following night and she would attempt to fix it. Well I made the decision to have another stylist correct it (one that I knew and trusted) I apologized for not having gotten in contact with her sooner and explained our day (doctor for strep and corrective cut with someone else) and apologized. See, I didn't feel comfortable going back into the salon that had just WRECKED my sons hair!! I did send her pictures of the corrective cut, showing her from the stylist just how bad, and uneven his hair had been left. How bad of a haircut I'd paid for. Her response was "our salon is not a good fit for your family" AS IF WE HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! And she refuses to refund me... so I've essentially paid for this cut twice! I only have 1 Star, because I couldn't give ZERO

We actually came here for the first time today with my youngest daughter who is 15 months old. Was kinda a big deal. It was her first haircut. The place we took our other three daughters for there forts haircut had closed down and this place has a similar setup and did a similar first haircut package with a clipping of the hair and a certificate. So we made an appointment and headed that way. The insudevdecor is very fun. Very colorful and vibrant and welcoming to a little one. Ten chairs are all race cars or princes trucks and have personalized TVs and even some with video game systems like PlayStation or Xbox hooked up. My daughter was placed in the princess truck and you could tell the barber was use to working with babies because she fired up cocomelon on the Netflix and my Daughter was hooked. Playing on her chair car and watching her toons. The barber did a fantastic job and was great with her. She was great herself. She did so good and sat still and the barber didn't have to worry about anything. As mentioned they did give her a little certificate with the barber name and stating first haircut with a clipping baggie of her hair. So that's always a nice keepsake. We will out it with our outer daughters. A little pricey at $16 but it's a special occasion and a cool setup. Not somewhere we will take every time. Just on first haircut and special occasions for fun. Much like we did with the previous place we took our olde three that's now closed. And this place was exactly like that. So we were very satisfied.

I originally rated this business 4 stars a few years ago, but unfortunately my experience this time…read morewas drastically different. My hair was burned, and the cut was honestly atrocious. I reached out to the salon to let them know what happened. I was not asking for a free cut, a refund, or anything beyond basic professionalism. My message was read, and I never received any response. That lack of acknowledgment or respect as a client was just as disappointing as the service itself. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. In this case, the complete silence spoke volumes and ultimately led me to update my review. Hair damage takes time, money, and effort to repair, and it is not something clients should be left to deal with alone after trusting a professional. A simple response, an acknowledgment, an apology, or even a conversation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and unheard. I do not take leaving negative reviews lightly, but future clients deserve an honest account of my experience so they can make an informed decision.

I told him it made me want to come too early for my appointment to relax! My appointment was later afternoon. Plenty of chairs but none in use next to me, and the other customer / stylist were in another room so I felt comfortable throughout my cut. Masks are required of each person inside. I adore my stylist and will be visiting here as long as he enjoys it. If you're searching for a prime stylist, call and ask if "Ed" has an opening. FYI / Eufora hair products available. The shampoo used for my wash today smelled delicious and offered a wonderful cleanse. I bought a bottle for home.

This was my first appointment at dry bar but I had heard amazing things about it and to be frank, I knew after being busy all day I would not want to sit down and do my hair. So why not get someone else to do it for me and relax a little? Upon arriving, they were super fast at getting me seated and the woman doing my hair was super sweet! She chatted with me and made my experience really comfortable. She did my hair exactly how I wanted and it felt so clean and voluminous after she was finished. The place is also super cute and clean. Drybar gets started as early as 8a. Check in is prompt and my stylist came out quickly. I confirmed I wanted my hair to be straightened and also wanted to try a Liquid Glass treatment for additional shine. The shampoo area was fairly busy; however, plenty of space between me and the person in the next chair. Fairly basic shampoo, conditioner and application of treatment. The drying and straightening of my hair fell into the promised time. I was offered coffee, tea, or water. The chair wasn't super comfortable - maybe I'm made too short to fit it well, but the backside only hit me mid-back. Overall, my hair feels cleans and it's straight, but is still holding a lot of volume. This is the second experience at Drybar where I've come home to flat iron my hair. I also don't notice a difference in my hair from the treatment, which was an additional $15. My stylist was friendly and I appreciated having a quiet morning flipping through a magazine and my phone. BUT ... Overall though, Drybar prices have increased in a way that doesn't match the experience. $75 plus tip?! Nope. I could go to my hair stylist for a cut and walk out with the same dried look. Unless I get an unexpected gift card to Drybar, I don't believe I'll be back for services.
