Um okay. Well first of all this was my first time here and Brandi was so rude. I didn't even know her name until I saw my receipt. She started with parting my hair and asked if that was where I wanted it. I told her I usually part it a little over. She asked to which side. And before I could answer she said "just point" in kind of a rude way... So she parted it again and still it wasn't where I usually do it. Which is fine, it usually takes a few tries to get the part right. Everyone does it differently. But instead of letting me just show her where I do it, she slapped the comb in my hand and said "you just do it". Ummmm okay rude?? I told her all I needed was a trim and to clean up the split ends. I specifically told her the particular way I wanted it cut and how I want to make sure it's not choppy when I pull my hair over my shoulders. When she finished it was... choppy. Which was still fine, it could've been fixed. She kept speaking to me in a very condescending way. "So, you're telling ME that you want it like this..." chopchopchop. "Better?" I said it was fine because at this point I was looking to see if Alchemy salon was open.... Then to top it off, I said when it was blow dried we'd be able to tell if it was choppy in the front. She was like "do you want it Styled, it's extra though". I was confused because most places don't let you leave with wet hair. So I asked if she'd blow dry it. "Styled or not, or just a finger dried". I literally thought she meant she was going to air dry it and comb through it with her fingers. So then, all rude, she said "do you or do you not want it blowdried" Uhhh sure. This is what I get for thinking I'd still be treated nicely and get a decent trim at a cheap place. I walked in with full intentions on giving her an $8 tip. The haircut is $8 so might as well tip 100% since it's so cheap to begin with. Needless to say I only tipped $2. For the effort. Next time I'll go back to my usual place where I get talked to nicely and don't have a frickin mouth breather cutting my hair. read more
