Jeni is absolutely AMAZING! She is the only person my son is comfortable cutting his hair. Hair cuts used to be a huge sensory struggle for him, but Jeni keeps him chatting, listens to his comments and communicates every step, helping him throughout. Not only is she great with kids, but adults too. After years with the same stylist who I could no longer coordinate schedules with, I was nervous to have someone new cut my hair. I normally check in online but because it was 30 minutes to close the system would not allow me to. Being at Sprouts I walked over arriving at 7:31. The girl asked if I checked in online and I said no as the system would not allow me. She said they were not taking any more walk-ins. I said it is 7:31 and you do not close until 8. There was no one waiting and no one on the list. Two stylists in the store and one was cutting hair. The other stylist was doing anything sitting at the front desk. My hair cut takes 5 - 7 minutes at best as it requires a #2 all over. Business must be good for the store and she obviously does not need the tips. I have been a long time customer of both the GC locations in FM getting my haircut every 2 weeks but can happily take my business elsewhere. The only time I will visit now is when there is a coupon for an $8.99 haircut as there are plenty of places nearby to get a #2 all over. I went over to Floyd's and got my haircut. They close at 8 also but happily took care of me. read more

I have been a loyal client of this location for 7 years and today was a nightmare. I checked my 2 kids in online and though the time went up and down, I waited patiently until it said 15 minutes and I received a text to come in. I arrived 20 minutes before closing and the staff was closing up. They said they couldn't accept anymore appointments. I shared that I had registered online and had received the notification to come in to the store. She stared at me and said nothing. I asked if the store was still open and she said yes, but they couldn't accept clients. I drove to the closest Great Clips on 407 and both of my kids received haircuts without having an appointment and we were done within 10 minutes. We actually finished before this location had closed. Customer service is important and valued. This location's manager refused to give her name, e-mail address or the franchise owner's name. She just stared and refused to offer any apology. They clearly wanted to go home early and had no interest in serving their clientele. Extremely disappointing. Thank you to the professionals at Great Clips on Justin Road, next to the Village Church. Wow this place gets busy! I highly recommend checking in online before showing up so that you're already on the list. That list was very long when I walked in today. I got lucky though because a lot of the online check-ins hadn't shown up yet so I ended up going 3rd instead of like 9th. The stylists are competent and friendly, and seemed to take their time. I was happy with my haircut at first but when I got home there were a number of areas I had to fix or touch up myself because they were uneven. I can't even believe this person is a licensed cosmetologist. What is this? The girl was super young so I should have known better. So disappointed. It's not that hard to do a trim. What a waste of money. So it was originally 1 Star but I updated it to a 3. Someone fixed my hair and it's better. I will never use this salon again! How dare the Hair Stylist talk about how a customer was acting. They waited till a father and son left the salon then started talking horribly about them while my sister and I were trying to pay. The son was autistic and can't control how he acts! How dare they even think that was appropriate And do not even get me started on how horrible the stylist was that did my sisters hair. I am shocked the women that did my sisters hair is even licensed, the older woman with the red/orange hair dye, she didn't give us her name and didn't speak the entire time. My sisters hair is shorter on one side and longer on the other and her bangs looks like someone tried to cut them with a butter knife. My sisters hair is so bad she's embarrassed to even leave the house. Absolutely horrible service and I can not believe any of these employees are employed there. read more

Thank you to Great Clips for the free hair cut they offered Veterans this year and a big thank you to Kayla. This location was convenient because its right next to Sprouts never stopped here before. There were two stylist working and the youngest one of the two was available, her name was Kayla. I sat in the chair explained exactly what I was hoping for and not only got one of the best hair cuts in years (perfect in my opinion) but, a great conversation.
