Michael Molinar turned a bad situation into wonderful experience. When I walked in to Great clips. There were two customers waiting and two customers getting haircuts No on said Hello, Be with you in a moment or go to hell. I took a sit and waited. The hairdresser closest to the door was busy singing and trying to dance. And Michael was busy cutting hair. The customer in Michael's chair was finished and walked to the front to pay. Michael cleaned his station and called the next customer. The other hairdresser fininished walked to the front to cash out the customer. He spoke to my daughter, but not me and signed her in. He called the next lady waiting and proceeded to cut her hair. When he was finished. He cashed out the lady and called my daughter. We had a few words, but I did not want his rude person touching my head. After Micheal was through with his patron. I asked him if he would be willing to cut my hair. He set me d I in in his chair and proceeded to give me the best hair cut I have ever had in my life, and living in Los Angeles and attending some pretty famous stylist I was very impressed with him! Went to promenade location to have my grandsons hair cut. Thw guy cut it shorter than what i told him, left him leaving looking like alfalfa. Guess he couldnt afford any pomade for him. And once his hair dried, i could see how chopped up it was. Never going back there again. read more

went to promenade great clips at about 9:45ish am on a Monday. Guy cute my hair, and I said half of it off. This fucker takes almost all of my hair off, and kept cutting and cutting and cutting. I don't know if this guy forgot, or if he didn't how I asked him to cut my hair, but my hair now looks hideous. now I have to wait 2 weeks and go to phoenix to get my haircuts, I wouldn't EVER go to great clips for a haircut, maybe a trip but not a haircut. men take this in consideration, go get your haircut done by an actual barber that knows what they're doing. I've moved several states over the years and have been to numerous Great Clips. I will say that this location is extremely busy so check in online or be standing at the front door when they open. My hair always comes out the way I want it to, and that's pretty good since I change it so frequently. Most reliable Great Clips I have gone to. I went to Kelly yesterday and she did fantastic. I cannot believe I gave this location another chance. In March i questioned why the location wasn't supplying masks if customers didn't have one. I was asked to leave the location by the manager Raven. I made a formal complaint to the corporate headquarters and got no follow up call from the local headquarters. Today I decided to give the location another chance. I failed to add an additional person on my online check in. There wasn't anyone in the salon waiting, however there were many that had not reached the salon yet. I asked if we could both have our hair cut, because there weren't any people in the salon waiting. The lady behind the counter replied that she had not cleaned up her station or not had a break yet and it would be a little while. After cleaning up she disappeared into the back room and closed the door. She was in there approximately 6 minutes, then returned with the manager Raven . Raven then explained to me that we could not both get our hair cut, but she could take me then add my 80 year old mother to the list with an hour wait. I said that I didn't understand since there wasn't anyone waiting. I also told a Raven that we had issues in the past and that I would not return to this location. Raven threatened to call the police on me! I never once raised my voice, I just explained we had issues in the past. She doesn't need to be dealing with the public. I hope that Great Clips looks into this issue and hopefully they call me back this time. Do yourself a favor and go to another location. read more

I see that the most recent reviews for this location are in excess of a year old and very negative I'm going to change that now This Great Clips is wonderful! My wife has been going here for the last year and LOVING it! She has used Val, the local manager, and loves the cuts she's gotten! Now, I was thinking of changing from my old barber and my wife said I should try Val! I did and now I won't be going anywhere else, Val is my gal for haircuts! My cut would be considered a modified Marine crewcut and she's really good at it. I highly recommend this Great Clips location and Val specifically! read more

First of all this is Casa Grande, AZ so expect slow and incompetent service going into it and you may understand why this place gets such a low rating. The stylist barely know how to cut hair and lose thier collective minds if the step by step instructions on how to cut your hair is not in the "clip notes". Check in online?, Another disaster. No matter when you check in online it will take a minimum of 30 minutes. What's the point. This is the fast food version of a barber/salon. Try any other mom and pop barber, for better service, cheaper prices and shorter waits. Place sucks! read more

Went for a simple trim, just enough to get the dead ends off. Got home and realized the cut was completely uneven! She only spent about a total of 10 minutes on my hair including the time taken to check in another customer and answer the phone so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am extremely disappointed. I went to this Great Clips back in October 2017 and got the absolute most horrendous hair cut of my life. Called the Manager and she agreed to fix the problem and give me a free hair cut. Went back today - 3 months later - took that long for the mess to grow out and received the 2nd worst hair cut of my life. Bad service before even sitting down.. Today I called and asked if there were specials the person on the phone said yes, in the paper there is a coupon. I said which paper? They replied the Sunday paper. I drive from my house 10 miles away looking around for a place that sells the Sunday paper and I can't find the coupon. I bring the paper to great clips where they tell me it's not running anymore, then another girl comes up and says its actually in a different paper.. I left.. & won't do business with this shop because they clearly do not pay attention. Had I actually had my hair cut here it probably wouldn't have turned out well because they wouldn't have paid attention. read more

I was recently in Casa Grande to visit a sick family member and needed a haircut. I decided to give this Great Cuts a try. After driving across town to get there is arrived and went in the store. At the counter I was met by one of the employees who asked me if I was there for a haircut, which I thought was kind of odd, after all that's what they do. She then proceeded to ask if I had made an online appointment to which I answered no. She then proceeded to tell me that the wait would be two hours, while looking at a screen in front of me that showed at least a dozen online appointments qued on the screen. At the same time I looked around the waiting room to see only three other people actually waiting in the store. I also observed there to be 4 or 5 employees cutting hair, appearing to be plenty of staffing. Not wanting to wait for two hours I left the store and gave up on the haircut. It is unfortunate that the store places more value on an online appointment than a customer that will actually walk in and ask for service. This system penalizes me or your for taking time to frequent their business. I'm not sure whose dumb idea it is too turn away customers who walk in if they don't want to wait these long periods of time. You would think that a customer in the store would be a priority over and unknown on a screen. This is a total waste of my time and an example of short sighted thinking on the part of management. I wonder if on slow days the employees stand at the window waiting for customers and fight over their business when they walk in the door? Too much wait and hassle for a haircut that sometimes turns out ok and other times substandard at best from one of these generic chain barbers.
