I was iffy about going here after reading the reviews but I was desperate for a hair cut so I took a chance. I checked in online and didn't have to wait long when I was there. The staff was nice and she did a good job on my trim and thinning out my hair. read more

I gave a bad review on a bad haircut,now they are harassing me by calling my cell phone. WTF?

If I could rate it less than 1 star, I would. My wonderful (but insecure) 12 year old niece (with curly, frizzy hair that always gets tangled) wanted to get her hair cut short in order to get a fresh start. She has been struggling with taming her long mane for some time--and had some really bad mats in her hair. We both went into Great Clips this afternoon in the hopes of getting a helping hand--and we were only greeted with incivility and frigidity. After we were checked in, we were guided by an older woman to her booth. The woman told my niece to have a seat. My niece attempted to get her bearings and did not sit down immediately, and the woman icily snapped "SIT DOWN!" at her. I was nearly ready to leave at that point, but I knew my niece had been looking forward to her haircut all week. Unfortunately, I should have listened to my gut--as what happened next left me stunned and enraged. The woman grabbed my niece's hair in disgust and proceeded to tell her that she wouldn't touch it. She accusingly asked me how long it had been "in this state," and repeatedly told my niece that she was going to lose ALL OF HER HAIR. By that time, my face gave away my anger (while my niece was starting to have a panic attack and was nearly in tears)--and she attempted to redeem herself by telling me I could spend hours detangling it myself. I grabbed my niece's hand and left before I said some really ugly things. Let me be clear. I have no problem with receiving advice on detangling or styling. I have no problem with a hairstylist (politely) turning down performing a haircut due to the tangling problem. I do, however, have a problem with 1) a bitter, cruel woman treating a child in this manner 2) a grown woman driving a child to an anxiety attack. I spent the entire drive home trying to convince my niece that she wasn't going to lose all of her hair. read more

Unprofessional poor customer service. My husband put his name in for a haircut and they kept taking people in front of him. He finally asked what going on and they said you have to register online. Why would you let someone sit there an hour! Worst place ever! read more

I have had several bad experiences from different stylists at this salon over the years. Like the time I brought in a picture of a choppy long shag and left with a mullet. I went to get one of the let me speak to your manager haircuts that was all the rage when I was in high school and left with my hair cut super short except for a tiny amount of bangs they left untouched that hung past my chin. Or the time I went in for a cut and was sent out with my hair soaking wet. I'm not sure she even gave me a full trim that time. With all that said it's great clips. Not all stylists in there are going to be terrible but if you're looking for more than a trim I'd go else where. read more

They don't deserve one star! Went in and showed April the haircut I wanted. I HAD hair down to the middle of my back. I wanted a longer, stacked angled bob. I asked, "Can you do this?" She responded with yes. Ohhhhh my gosh! After showing her I didn't want her to above my collar bones, I now have hair just under my chin. It is longer in the back than the front. So, to achieve the overall look I wanted, I would have to go even shorter!! She gapped it up, made it too short, and it looks like I have a grown out bowl cut. The elderly lady who "fixed" it was something else! Huffy, made unnecessary comments, and said "well I shorted the longer side." Well......... Dear....... As I have to go in public, MY HAIR HAS TO BE EVEN. Then, she blamed the joke of a "cut" on my part!! Clearly, there aren't many requirements to be a "stylist" here..... read more

Awful, sat there and took people who had come in after me, and just let me sit there for over 1/2 hour waiting. Gave up after husband got hair cut, he had to go to someone else to straighten up. dont waste your money here read more
