When it comes to my hair, I'm simple. Just need a trim, so it's been my go-to spot. No styling or complex haircut. I usually check-in online ahead to reduce wait time. Though, I hardly wait. In and then out. Price is super reasonable. Hair stylists are so nice and welcoming. Place is clean. Nearby home. Plenty of parking spaces .. actually a lot. No complaints. read more

Came in at 6:43pm for a wash and trim and Zia, my hairdresser and I believe it was the supervisor said no to a wash because they closed at 7pm. She trimmed my hair in 6 minutes and it looks awful. She did not take her time and was rude and not friendly. I've never had a hair trim with a face framing cut take only 6 mins. She could've taken her time and still showed me great customer service if there was no hair wash, but she rushed and did not do a good job. Customer service is an important thing and Zia needs to be trained on the importance of showing each customer respect and to do her best regardless of the time. If the store is not closed, do you best on the haircut and be friendly. read more

Finally decided to cut six inches off my hair. The stylist I had breezed through the wash and cut and didn't even brush through my hair properly or cut it properly. She also left it very wet where in the past they've at least gotten it dry. It looked fine upon checking it but over the next few days I realized it was extremely uneven and she had cut about a foot off. They offered to fix it but I don't trust them and am already upset that my hair is now much shorter than I intended and needs to be cut more to fix their mistake. Id rather they just give me my money back. The overall vibe and energy of this store is passive and like they don't much care which definitely reflected in my wash and cut. Luckily I didn't have them do more. read more

It's not the location it's the stylist. Got a stylist named Sam and I have gotten her twice n she messes up every time. Told her a 1 on the side with a fade and a 3 on top. It was a horrible side fade that arched up to the top of my head instead of the side and the top was not a 3 and even shorter. I figured I'd give her a second chance but never again. Horrible stylist. Doesn't know what she is doing. read more

I worked with Carly today. She gave me an excellent haircut, and a beard trim. I haven't had anyone do my beard the way that I asked. She listened to what I wanted, and verified along the way. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend! Thank you! read more

If I could leave less than a 1 star I would. I asked for a fade for the side of my head starting with a .5 at the bottom then this lady goes all the way up the side of my head with the .5 and gave me such a botched hair cut. now I've got to wear a hat for a few months. this place is awful. In Phoenix AZ they were much better, but here in Salt Lake area they only seem to give out botched hair cuts(except for a few people but that's the exception). Never go to a Great Clips here. It's just awful. Spend a few extra bucks and find a better place. read more

Do not go here!!! I'm not sure who's in charge of hiring, but they did an extremely poor job with their stylist Diana. Even though I had seen her several times before (and honestly loved the way she cut my hair), she was rude and impatient with me this time, to the point where I was in tears on the way home. She cut my hair the other day, and I was overall happy with it. I had her leave the front long, and when I got home I realized I wanted it shorter. It wasn't her fault, and I recognize that. I went back today to have her shorten the front, and as I was in the chair, she told me, in an extremely annoyed and disgusted voice, "it sounds like you don't even know what you want. and it's frustrating because we spent 40 minutes on it the other day. If I can't give you what you want, you should request someone else next time.." I wasn't blaming her for the haircut... I recognize that it was my choice to begin with, but I made a mistake with leaving the front so long. I was nothing but kind to her, so I don't know why she felt the need to shame me. There was no reason for her to be so rude, mean, and dispirited. Customer Service seems to be on the bottom of Great Clips priority list. read more

I have received a coupon in the mail and my roommate went in to get a haircut but forgot to coupon at home. I wanted to text him a picture of the coupon so he could pay for it but the angry hair cutter woman sure was upset that the paper coupon wasn't in hands because it's 'policy' and will not honor it unless the paper coupon is in hands. Wow for an $8.99 haircut at a cheap franchise for end of career or inexperienced students you are not going to get a tip by not being nice and rushing to get angry over a COUPON YOU MAILED ME!! read more

I've taken my kids here a few times, today I took them in just to get a quick trim. Diana cut my 11 year old son's hair, and she was terrible to deal with. She got annoyed at him for only wanting a little bit taken off and wanting to keep some of his length, she said his only options were to cut it really short or to give him a bowl cut. I started taking to my son about how short he was willing to go, and she snapped at me and said, "He doesn't know what he wants, so you just need to be the adult and decide." So very rude and condensing! If you insist on going here, try to avoid Diana, she is the worst! I will never returned here, especially not when there are so many better options around. read more

Terrible hair cuts! I have them cut my hair many of time and it always seems like I have to fix it because they miss hairs. They are in such a rush they want to get you in and out as fast as possible! Hair is always left on my face after and they don't clean it off, I have to grab the towel and do it myself. I live here in bountiful and will drive to Centerville to get my hair cut for know on. They have done a lot better job for us! read more

I have been coming here for over a year. They are normally very good following your directions. But lately I have been very unhappy with my haircuts. Today was the final straw. The directions I gave for this haircut was a low zero and she gave me a high tight. I will be going to sport clips for now on. read more

Great crew in this spot. I'm always satisfied with my haircut every time I come in, no matter who the stylist that cuts my hair.

Because I didn't wash my hands "well" enough, I was denied a haircut and told to leave. This came from a loud mouthed sassy pants Asian stylist who was at the first seat cutting hair working on another person while I was in the back in the bathroom. Who am I touching? How about THEY wash their hands between clients which I did NOT see happen before they called me back!!! I Will NEVER recommend them!! That attitude of that lady was appalling. Unprofessional beyond belief!! read more

very rude csr a full hour left before closing and only 3 customers and 3 on wait list I wanted to wait just in case someone didn't make it and she didn't want me to. Cuz they're list is full. The way I see it if you don't show up on time you take the walk in customer and make some money while they show up. didn't want to help cut my hair.no one on list was there. and they would not cut my hair. ugly attitude. just plain rude read more

Grateful for this great Great Clips. Friendliest stylist I've had in a while and the typical skilled but no-frills approach to hair. I can be in and out in 20 minutes. You can easily check-in online and often times be seen within minutes if not right away. They also offer pre-paid haircut cards which puts a men's cut at $9.99 a'piece, which is hard to beat. read more

They charge 2.00$ for a disposable face mask! That's pretty dumb. And they don't really know how to measure the length of your hair. I ask for just half and inch off and the lady cut off two inches! Makes me really sad :( I like my hair kind of long for a guy.. miss my old hair. I won't come here again. They have good costumer service. But they don't really know how to cut hair... read more

April is very attentive to how I like my hair done and she is very detail as well. I will definitely be back! read more

The stylist was nice, knowledgeable, and funny. There was not a dull moment in the conversation. She worked quickly and did an awesome job! I will definitely be going back to this location! From what I heard, while I was there, all the stylists sounded super nice and good. read more

I have never had a worse haircut before. They raised my hairline so high in my neck and over my ears that they might have well put a bowl on my head and shaved around it ! It's a hit and miss with great clips - one time it's acceptable, the next time it's horrible. I know I'm done with this place. I'll go to greater lengths to find a better cut and perhaps pay more if I have to. It was a "butcher job"! I even had two photos of myself showing great cuts. read more

I have never been so irate about a hair-cutting experience in my life. I went in to get my undercut trimmed and was charged for a full haircut. Cherylee's justification was that "she had to cut into the hair." The rest of my hair was already up in a bun, so all Cherylee had to do was buzz down my pre-existing undercut. As I was walking out with my preschooler, she and two other employees were standing together and made snarky comments about me and my kid. I absolutely would not recommend this facility to anyone. read more

Natalie does a really good job at cutting my hair the way I like it, I usually go to the barber but have found she does just as good of a fade it not the exact way I want it and better. read more

Awesome service, and 5 stars for giving free haircuts to Vets. on Vets Day.

Amazing how people pay $10 for a haircut and then complain. I go here because it's cheap and they do a good job. They don't try too hard to push overpriced products, they just make recommendations. I've never got a bad hair cut here and the Asian girl is amazing read more

Millie the manager cut my hair! I went from having hair past my butt to having hair a little past my shoulders and she was so concerned the whole time about how I would feel with it all being gone so fast. You could tell all the hairstylist just really wanted everyone to be happy. I LOVE my hair and millie did a fantastic job, everyone there was so nice and the atmosphere there was very upbeat and happy. The wait was a little long but if you check in online before you go that isn't a problem :) I will definitely be going back! read more

I had my hair cut here two time, very frustrating experience. Even with detailed notes and instructions they just couldn't get it right. I had to have my haircut fixed a few days later each time. read more

Five years ago, I was lucky enough to discover April @ Great Clips. My haircuts are often far apart, and no one else can give me a great shape that lasts for months. I always call in advance because April is the best Stylist I have ever had, (she just gets it) and is worth my wait. She actually trims my hair better than my wife used to when she cut it. April almost makes me feel guilty for not having faster growing hair. read more

Sam was awesome. She made me feel at home and was very friendly. She knew exactly what I wanted after I told her how I wanted my haircut. She took the time to tell me how to curl my hair for the style I wanted. They are very popular so it gets busy there, so be sure to check in online if you can. read more

I have had good quick haircuts and pleasant chatter with the technicians for over 15 years in the 700 East and Woods Cross stores. HOWEVER; the online check in system is about to drive me insane. More than a couple of times I have checked in online, noted the expected wait time, shown up on time and waited from 30 to 45 minutes beyond the wait time posted. In Woods Cross today I finally walked out, without a haircut, after waiting 45+ minutes. There were only 2 technicians, which can happen, and they both had women clients who were in the chairs the entire time I waited. These long sessions make the online check in worthless. I suggest one day per week for women only and a men only on a different day. The remaining 5 Days can be the usual chaos system. If my haircut takes about 12 minutes in the chair and a ladies takes as much as an hour, both for 14 dollars, there is a problem with the pricing model. I prefer to make a statement like this one privately but there does not seem to be any way to contact the owner privately. The technicians would not give me contact info for the decision maker. I've had my last haircut at Great Clips unless this situation is resolved. Ray Walton read more

I went in for a trim and specifically asked for 1/2 inch to be cut she cut off 6 inches! I do not recommend this place at all!

Terrible I waited an hour for a hair cut, I was signed into their check in system. Someone comes in off the street not signed in and they take him next so I left. they aren't really great at cutting hair either. read more
