Seems like it would be no big deal, but actually very stressful! I called common hair salon because it's pretty close to the proximity of where I live. The receptionist was incredibly nice and crazy enough (this never happens!) they had an appointment that same day with Tonya! My natural hair color is quite dark, but I have gone blonde for years because I have a lot of gray growing in and it just seems to grow out and blend better, I also have enough hair for probably three people on my head, and so requires a lot of foils and a lot of patience for a full highlight. Tonya had a great consult, ultimately I said "I trust you, and I'm easy" when it came to her process and what toner and products she was going to use. I could not be happier! Number one she is incredibly fast and her attention to detail is brilliant. Number two she is fun to talk to, she's a normal person, no ego, and we had a great time connecting. And number three she obviously knows what she's doing with color/blondes and has a ton of experience. I already rebooked with her. She did a great job. I am 100% happy with the outcome! Pricing is a lot, not gonna lie about that, it was high $300's; anyone with blonde color preferences knows you get what you pay for though. I moved to SLC a year ago and have been looking for my hairstylist and I know I found her finally! Where I moved from, I had been going to the same stylist for almost 10 years. So the new stylist had big shoes to fill. Rylie is kind, understanding, and listens without getting frustrated. I know I can be a bit difficult when it comes to my hair because my old hairstylist had known me for so long she knew exactly what to do. Seeing a new hairstylist can be difficult because the color is a different brand, the toners are different, etc. etc. Rylie has been nothing but understanding with me and listened to my "let's try this" etc. And we finally got to a PERFECT color! She is amazing and does a great job! The salon itself is super cute and parking is very easy. They often have great deals on hair products and have a good selection. Prices are great as well.
