The Great Blasket Centre was a major highlight of our recent trip to Ireland. This place is also fairly isolated, so Gayle and I were very appreciative the that Centre includes a Cafe. Soup and Brown Bread (with sparking water) were the order for the day off a fairly impressive menu (including sweets of course).
A big bonus was nicely available seating within a fairly large room, with big windows with a view toward the Blasket Islands. Even on a somewhat rainy and blustery day, the light really shined through. Folks working here were also super nice and helpful. read more
