1st time visit this past weekend with my husband and a few of our friends and I'm so glad we finally tried it! We had been wanting to try out Great Big Game Show since it opened at Mall of America (MOA) because we like games and game shows! Parking was pretty easy since it's pretty close to the 3rd level east side parking lot at MOA. The Game Host helped make our experience very fun, including putting together a highlight reel of our game show! Highly recommend checking it out!

Our group of 4 had an amazing experience playing "The Original" at the Great Big Game Show at MOA! The games were super fun - the time flew by and our host was amazing (I'm so sorry I forgot her name or I'd give a BIG shoutout). I liked that there was a mix of skill and luck + it was just the right amount of challenge to not get frustrated. FYI - pricing in person was much better than online for a group of 4!

What a great activity to do with friends and family while visiting Minnesota or at the Mall of America. Located on the top floor connected to the escape room is this Game show like game where you can have up to a team of 6 or 7 to battle against each other. Our host was so energetic and fun to be with. There were different game options, we played against a group of boys that we didn't know but it was a lot of fun. You pay per person I believe and can sign up ahead of time and fill out the waivers when you are there. I don't know if there's an age range for it though. But great activity for adults and families!

Never been to the Mall of America. Went online to see what was going on and came across this game show. I love game shows so I immediately signed my mom and I up for 9:30am. We arrived 45 minutes easily but got lost in Nickelodeon land. It was awful.... thankfully I called and was walked though on where to go. The staff was super accommodating and changed our time to 9:45am without any penalties or attitude. Thank you. We were briefed and directed to our venue. I was pleasantly surprised in how the room was set up. I felt like we were in our own world. It's quite and focused on the game. Wilson was our host and he was so fun. Worked with all sorts of ups and downs. The games were interactive, and fun. Lots of laughs and opportunities to play. The hour went by so fast. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Amazing experience! We were a little late and the staff was willing to work with us. Cole was our show host and he had such a great energy, he really brought the game show experience alive. I recommend for ages 15+ and you do have to sign a waiver before playing. Also, you can buy their giant pencils.

If you're any level of game show fan, you sound check out "Great Big Game Show"! It's a really fun, family-friendly, immersive experience including stage lights, think music, and props--the only things missing are the cameras and a live studio audience! They have two versions to play: Original (which has a variety of trivia and mini games) and Trivia Showdown. Our host tonight was Dylan for an Original game, and even though there were only two of us playing, he made it very fun and interactive. We both had a really great time. This should be an enjoyable hour for families and groups of up to 12--and they'll even let your party members spin for a chance to win discounts on your game.

Super fun experience for New Year's Eve! A fun evening with our neighbors and two new friends from California. Definitely a good time.

Molly did a great job as a host. We had tons of fun!!!! A great set up and production. The Blue Team wins again!

This place truly feels like the future of gaming…read more I'm 30 years old and still left feeling like I got a full cardio workout in... but with a huge smile on my face the entire time. What I love most is how interactive everything is. Each room is private to your group (up to 5 players), so you're always playing with the people you came with, no awkward mixing with strangers. It makes it perfect for families, friends, or even a team outing with coworkers. The Mega Grid is hands-down my favorite and the main reason I keep coming back. It's fast-paced, challenging, and ridiculously fun.If you're looking for something different that gets you moving and laughing, this is the spot.

Activate is a super fun, high-energy experience, but plan ahead - especially at Mall of America…read more First tip: give yourself plenty of time to find it. We arrived about 30 minutes early and still felt rushed. The mall directions led us to a first kiosk, but Activate is actually on the third floor, so that added some confusion. When we arrived, there was a fairly long line. I had pre-registered online using a gift card, but at check-in they initially said I owed the full amount. I had to ask them to locate and apply the gift card I had already purchased. Once that was sorted out, each person in our group had to sign in separately, which takes a few minutes per person. They did provide a free locker, which was great. I highly recommend putting all jackets and hoodies in there - you will get hot fast. Once signed in, the instructions are very brief, but easy enough to figure out as you go. We were a group of six and hoped to play together, but had to split into two groups. That ended up being fine because we competed against each other, which was actually fun. There are about 10 rooms, and each room offers multiple game options. Every game earns you points, and there's a large scoreboard showing rankings, which adds a fun competitive element. We went on a busy day, so we did have short waits for some games, but usually only a couple of minutes. One downside: I wish there were a water fountain inside the gaming area. You can't bring water bottles in, and while there is a fountain by the lockers, our one-hour session flew by and we barely had time to step out. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely do it again. Tips if you go: 1. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to find it and check in. 2. Wear shorts, a T-shirt and running shoes. 3. Drink water before you start. Fun, fast-paced, and a great workout!
