The regular wash is more expensive than almost anywhere else but I find it's worth the money since they hand dry your car. Today we paid for the ultimate wash and it was literally worse than when we pay for the works. There was no difference in one service versus the other. Your car goes through the "car wash" at record speed. Today our wash cost $58 plus tip and I now have to go home and finish cleaning and wiping out the inside of my car. The windows are streaky, the dash board was only half wiped down. The doors were wiped with so much solution that it dripped all over the inside door frame. There is still a bunch of dust everywhere. I feel so ripped off for the services today. The worst part is that we picked a time it was not busy so they did not have to rush. The previous time we paid for the works and they "cleaned" the inside with minimal attention to detail, so today we thought if we paid more, they would do a better job. Boy were we wrong. Looking for a new car wash because this one isn't working out any longer.

They are not cheap and frequently there would be equipment not working etc so I'm not getting the full value for my dollars spent. I wanted a self-service style and after some searching around I found Washoe Wash. I was very pleased with the experience here. The facility is clean and everything works! The water is heated (score!) and there are a wide range of options to select from (rinse, soap, wax, engine cleaner etc). Pricing is very fair ($4 for the first 3 1/2 minutes then buck a minute to extend. There's ample parking to towel off the car, or they have a high powered air blaster thingy if that's your jam. I also saw an automatic touches full-wash machine in one of the bays. This will be my go-to place of business for winter car washes!

It also took way longer than originally agreed after deposit was paid 7 weeks and then we got charged nearly double the estimated time--which threw off our schedule and forced me to spend even more to have the job redone correctly. Moreover someone from his cleaning team broke the motor and then charged us to have it looked at. This is a true locally owned and operated car wash and detail business. When the Magic Crew is working on a 150k Porsche they are not going to stop work and talk to you, they are in the middle of a job. If you go to a doctors office it's the same concept. The doctor doesn't just stop his business when treating a patient to answer your questions. YOU have to wait your turn or make an appointment!!! Serious people with serious vehicles visit Mr Magic.
