There's two options of cream cheese - danish or like the croissant rolls. This place changed my view of scones. I thought they were crusty rocks people liked for their coffee but this place changed the mold. It's a crisp outside layer with a soft center. There are just to many flavors for me to tell u so if you are a scone lover then go ask. I also like their chocolate croissant so I can't wait for them to make it w just Almond and the filling cause I'm not always on the mood for chocolate. Aesthetically, It's a tiny place w abt 4 little tables and it's like a hole in a wall bakery.

I was told its a recipe from a bakery that is now closed but was very popular over in the St. Peter's neighborhood. It was so good. Some people think that semita means "semite bread" and reflects the food and ethnicity of the early settlers of Northern Mexico and Laredo. There are tables and chairs in the middle of the panaderia and depending on what time of day you go, you might run into people you know who are enjoying good bread and coffee (the coffee is pretty good too.).

You walk into a huge assortment of fresh baked goods that were no doubt delicious. We found a table and ordered some drinks while we waited for the rest of our group. I had a hot dirty chai. It was sweet and tasty, but not hot enough. I'm thinking the iced would have been better. No stars removed though because when the food came, I was blown away. I ordered the lox on sourdough and a side salad. The plate was beautifully presented. I dug into the salad first and OMG! The dressing was magical. It was bursting with fresh flavors, bright lemon zest, maybe a hint of Dijon. It was so good. I'm would order the salad over and over if I could, but salads aren't on the menu. The main course was equally mind blowing. The bread was soft and chewy, the salmon was accompanied by lots of capers, dill, cream cheese, and cucumbers. It was a perfect combination.
