The parts cost 250, they charged 640 in Labor!! There hourly labor cost is 140 an hour!! OUTRAGEOUS!! I researched the cost of an ICP sensor replacement and found they average 300-500!! This place is a rip off!! They charge 4 1/2 hours for a job that should take no longer than 2 hours!! I'm a retiree on a fixed income and don't appreciate being ripped off by Wells Automotive!! Won't Ever Go Back, If Your Smart, You Won't Either!!

First off they're not open on Saturdays which I think is pretty dumb. The amount of time that my…read moretruck was supposed to take to get repaired should've took a week. It took three weeks for them to say that my vehicle was done my 1998 DODGE DAKOTA the repair took longer than it should've been. I had to call them to let me know if the vehicle was done or they can't find these parts and etc.. Every time I will call this lady will say that they are out to lunch every single time then they told me they need this part for my truck and they couldn't find it so I drove three hours to bring it to them and three hours back home and they did not even use the part they use what was on the vehicle already and then a couple of days later I called them to see if it was ready and they said it was ready. They're so worried about their money instead of repairing someone's vehicle, I drove to go get my vehicle and on the way back home I was having to stop because there was problems to sum up this review I paid almost $1000 for the truck repaired and I brought it home and they created more problems that I have to get fixed oh and on top of that I wish I would have pictures to show y'all. They put 27540R20 tires on the right side of my truck and then 275/45R20 on the left side which I thought was pretty dumb. and also they did something to where my reverse lights will not turn off at all.

On our recent road trip through Nacodoches, my dad's tire pressure sensor lit up, indicating that a…read moretire was low on air. We drove to the local Firestone, but the wait would have been too long. The manager at Firestone suggested we try Herman Power Tire about a quarter mile down the road. I'm glad he did, because the fine folks at Herman Power came through for us. Despite the place being busy (a good sign), the lady at the counter assured us that the wait time would be minimal. She sympathized with our haste to continue on our trip and gave our case top priority. That was kind and unexpected. The lobby was homey and comfy with several leather recliners, a couch, a TV, a large freezer stocked with complimentary ice cream bars, and a table piled high with reading materials. I considered skimming the latest issue of "Good Housekeeping" but opted instead for something lighter: "The Holy Bible." Before I could finish reading about how I should be stoned publicly for practicing the occult and necromancy (Leviticus 20:27), the technician returned with some good news. He had found the culprit: a roofing nail imbedded in the left rear tire. He checked all four tires and completed the repair in less than thirty minutes. Even better: the entire bill was just $16, including tax! I seldom leave a review after just one visit, so I contemplated returning to Nacodoches next year, hammering a roofing nail into a different tire, and seeing if the service we received on our first visit was just a fluke. I really just wanted an excuse to try the complimentary ice cream and give it a scathing one-star review for containing carrageenan. My dad rejected that idea (stick in the mud), so I'll have to assume that the staff at Herman Power Tire are always so kind, helpful, and expedient. If you need your vehicle serviced in Nacodoches, then look no further than this place!
