Sure enough, a couple weeks later, the sewer backed up again. So today (next day service), Arthur came out and sent a camera down.... they were right! it was an old sewer cap blocking the line! There's no real way to get it out easily, But Arthur managed, using a magnet. Immediately the sewer drained! so hopefully that is the end of that problem. the cost for today's visit was again incredibly reasonable. Good guys. Fast work. Well trained and knowledgeable! He was paid in full for the work he did in the guest bath and the master bath based on the assumption he checked his work before he left. In order to install the insert, more drywall had to be removed. Rather than either telling us that or contacting the contractor we were using to remove more drywall, he literally broke off chunks of drywall until he reached a point where he could get to the studs rather than neatly cutting away or asking us to do so. He installed the insert without checking the function of the plumbing work he did and we didn't attempt to use the tub until a couple of weeks later and the tub wouldn't hold water. We contacted him by text and phone messages for a couple of weeks and he responded saying he was on vacation. We set up a day for him to come and had a conflict and needed to move it and contacted him and he's gone off the grid. He was supposed to fix a faucet outside and he forgot and had to come back to do that and we gave him copper pipe for nothing just to be nice. After getting paid in full and getting free copper plumbing we had to pay extra money to fix the drywall he tore up, pay another plumber to come and fix the drain stop which we found out wasn't set up at all and still haven't heard from him after several attempts!! $1375 later - would never use this guy again. Beware!
