She quickly found an appointment that works for my schedule that is not a month out like other places. I have gone here for several years and every time I go in, I'm seen right away and get a very thorough exam, but I get in and out very fast. I also looked around at glasses for a little while, and they had a great selection, and I was shocked at how reasonable they were. That is refreshing in today's pricing gouges that are seen everywhere else. Please give Dr Sugarman office a chance; you will not be disappointed!

But since he retired, everything has changed including the service. I was so unhappy about my last appointment with the new doc that I found myself wanting to write a review on it and looking for other eye docs online. The office staff are not friendly or welcoming. I was taken into an exam room literally walking past the patient who was leaving and was asked to put my chin on the machine before it was sanitized. I had to ask them to clean the equipment. The doc didn't spend 5 minutes with me, left and never even came back. Next thing I knew I was done and had to ask for my glasses and contact prescriptions, which the doc said didn't change but the lab assistant indicated a change. I had questions about my vision and my eye health but I guess my time was up. They didn't have my contact prescription in stock and didn't even offer to order my contacts. Again, I had to ask. It used to be that we could pay when they came in but that has changed too. There's no way to track my contacts and they knew from my appointment request that I was on my last pair. I'm just overall really discouraged that I have to look elsewhere and find a new eye doctor.

Not only was I wearing the same test contacts for 2 months but the price of these contacts were unusually high just because "they aren't made in the US." Like okay sureeeeeeee
