You can go online and after finding your selection, place a hold and you'll receive an email once it's available. Books are usually held for five days giving you time to pick it up. Though there have been times when I couldn't make it so I called and the staff was helpful in allowing me more time. There is also a self check out. This system is wonderful. After checking out your books you can choose to have a receipt printed with the due date or have one emailed to you.

But I have also been to university libraries which don't compare. Compared to other Gwinnett Libraries: Quaint place which stretches way beyond people realize. I actually volunteered here during high school, back in the day. The volunteer coordinator took me to the back where there are many offices. This campus is the main campus for administration for all public libraries. Kinda cool little fact most people may never know.That being said, they have a pretty awesome volunteer program! Or they did back in the day at least ;). Cool magazine room that stays quiet. Library in general is always quiet (as it should be ;)) Lots of kids always, but it's not too bad. Good lighting. Wifi usually works if needed. Has all the books you'll possibly need, or you can have them reserve the book you need to pick up on the gwinnett public library website. I think they have book clubs, puppet shows, and stuff like that. I usually at this point only go on the website, have books on hold for me, and go pick them up. It's super convenient! Reading is FUNdamental! :)

The Gwinnett Public Library and libraries in general are a wonderful place to read, get work done…read morein a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. They have a kid friendly area here where children of all ages can go to find a plethora of books and also they have a weekly reading time which is also nice for the kids. Their free use computers for adults and children are great. Sometimes the kids will be on the computers for a long time though, so if that happens you can kindly remind them or or their parents their a time limit for computer use when other kids are waiting to use them. Library cards are free and they allow you to renew books, videos, cds via the Internet, phone call, or at the location itself. I've been here on numerous…read moreoccasions from early voting to HOA meetings but I never actually walked around to see what's offered such as classes in language arts, crafting, etc. On my last visit I was here for HOA meeting. On my way out, I picked up the quarterly publication of the upcoming events. I've always wanted to speak Spanish and low and behold the class is taught here! I was so excited but I later learned the class started Oct 1st thru Nov 5th. So I dropped by today to see when is the next class. I was told it's March 4. The publication is out Dec 4th. Good I came by today because the class most likely would be filled after Dec 4th. There is a beginners and Intermediate class. I'm looking forward to it bc I'm interacting with several Spanish speaking clients and I need to know their language so I can communicate with them. Not only that I believe we all should know more than one language. When I was in High School, French was the language of choice. I never used it but I'm still familiar with it if I had to read or speak it. So if you're in the Snellville area visit this library. They host parties, showers, retirement parties, meetings, etc. Im not certain what the fees are but I would think they're reasonable and competitive.

Its selections of books is outstanding and it is always clean and orderly. The environment is conducive to reading. There are also study rooms. The computers work. Most importantly the staff is not only knowledgeable but they are more than willing to assist you. This is a great place to come to study, do research, read or just check out the latest book.

I have not been in a Library for over 20 years. I went into this location yesterday in the…read moreafternoon. My initial encounter was very pleasant. I got another library card and used their computers. I questioned their ability for me to print which was easy to do. But I gave pause when I needed to copy/scan documents. The worker seemed annoyed she needed to assist. However, I was not sure if I needed to enter library card number again and pay a fee as I did with printing. I found out there was no additional fee for copy/scan or the use of computers as a card holder. Kudos to those workers that are willing to assist. I will definitely be back to this location in the future.

What I didn't realize was that the other non-alcoholic option listed was actually a wine--and wow, it was good! It reminded me of a Pinot Grigio.
