The tech said he couldn't fix it so he took it back to the shop where the "PRO" could look at it. I was told it would be 2300 to fix the machine. I told them to just return my machine and the equipment they took with it (that they shouldn't have taken) and I would just use the machine for other things and use my back up machine for our bread dough. The service tech then said it will cost a lot more money to get it back to working order like it was because they took it apart and went on to say it needed a bunch of work to get it back to that level of operation (even though it went in to the shop in that condition?) Well a month later and I still don't have the machine or the equipment they took with it back and never a phone call or any contact explaining why. seems because I decided not to use their service and they can't fix it they think I will just go away. Not gonna happen Midwest. I want my mixer back in the condition I gave it to you in with my equipment you took. I paid you 307 dollars to take my machine and give me an estimate.. well I turned it down as another company I have been in contact with said they would rebuild the whole thing for 1400 dollars (well under your bid) This company is a sham and will screw you too. I have also spoken to a couple other business owners that will never use their service again because of some similar type situations. I received HORRIBLE service at this location. I bought a screen cover to my iphone on 1/22/18. It…read moredidn't fit my phone. I was told that the owner would order the correct one and call me when it arrives. I paid for it at that time. I never received a call, so after a week I went in to check on the status. I was told it was still not in and would be there by the next week Friday ( On 2/1/18). Another week went by with no response from the company. I went to the location once again. Received the same excuse from the same lack luster, horrible customer service skills agent by the name, Jessica Vega. I was told once again to come back by the next Friday and it would be there. Again, no response or call from this company about the product I purchased on 1/22/18. 2/9/18 I came in again. Same response. I again waited for another 3 days and final was went in again to find out what the hold up was and if they had my item in. I was told again to come back the next Friday and that the owner would be checking at his other store. While I am awaiting resolution, trashy Jessica Vega to get off the phone to service me further, she is processing other customers that are coming in. While, I sit there waiting for a resolution. She got nasty with me, when I addressed her about her customer service skills and how that is rude. She became hostile and an verbal altercation between us happen. She was using profanity and acting way out of line. Using racial slurs and all. She put her manager on the phone, owner, Reyno Petors ( which when asked who her boss was, she gave me the wrong name). He became beligerant, and started yelling and cussing me out. I refused to leave until i got my money back. I was threaten. She called the police to escort me out. The police stated that when companies like these conduct shaddy practices like this, the only recourse is to sue them. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect in a place of business. And, I am a professional who works in the Customer Service/Human Services field. These people think that the customers that they serve are poor and prone to criminal activity ( what the owner stated to me). Black and Latino. I would not suggest any minority or even non-minority patronize this place. They are racist,rude, and would not give me my money back for an item I purchased. He is very friendly and very thorough in the exam. Most of the big stores get you in get your money and send you on your way. Dr. Jackson is the opposite, as long as he isn't busy he will stand around and converse with you and act as if you are a good friend or family member.

I took two brand new frames in to have new prescription lenses installed. The first frame, that I…read moreuse for my music work, the lenses were installed without any problems. The second pair, which is what I'm basing this review on, became the frames and lenses from hell! The lab Bella Vista Family Eye Care (BVFEC) uses, is Harbor Optical in Traverse City Michigan. In fitting my frames with lenses, the lab broke my brand new frames. They tried to replace the frames, but each of three times they attempted to make it right, the temples (bows) were too short. The first time they tried to sell me a 150mm set of temples, the second were 155mm and with a frame that was 2X too large. I even supplied a copy of my original invoice so that the lab could contact my source of supply directly to reorder the exact frames and temples that comprised my original order, which they didn't do. Finally the third attempt was the correct 165mm temples, but still the wrong frame. I kept pointing out that the frame was the wrong size. I even showed Sue, the receptionist twice, the discrepancy with the use of frame dimension specifications and dial calipers. She finally insisted on the third attempt that the bridge dimension of 20mm was the correct frame number and was what I had ordered! Her incompetence along with that of Harbor Optical was in no way going to get me the correct frame and lenses. So seeing that I was not going to get the correct frames, I cut my losses and walked away with new frames that had the correct length temples, but the actual frame was 2X too large for my face! In fairness to BVFEC, they didn't charge me the 50% balance that I owed on my bill, but took my $75 down payment as full payment. Over the course of the 6 weeks plus it took to arrive at the final frame lens combination, not one time did Dr. Jackson personally get involved with the problem. In fact, the last time I met with Sue, and showed her the frames were still the wrong frames. All the while Dr. Jackson was showing a young prospective customer the expensive frames that HE offers on his wall display, and completely ignored me and my problem! He always seemed unavailable when I came in on all my previous occasions. I always dealt with Sue whose attention to detail in getting the order right, seemed to diminish over each visit. The proper solution to this problem would have been for Dr. Jackson to admit that his business was not competent enough to fill my order and to refund me in full, the original cost of my frames ($106) plus my original down payment of $75 and suggested that I reorder my frames myself, and to find a more competent lens provider. My suggestion to you the consumer, I would be very hesitant to believe that what you start with in the way of frames and lenses is going to be what you finish with when dealing with BVFEC. There are way too many optical firms opening up in the area to choose from that are looking for your business to have to put up with such incompetent service as I did in just trying to get a set of lenses for a frame that I had purchased elsewhere!

I found the store to be fairly representative of lighting stores (they don't tend to vary a huge amount), but the service here was better than any of the other three I've been to. We set up an appointment to look at lighting with our interior designer and found our salesperson to be competent and not at all pushy. She was able to understand our design preferences and work with our budgetary concerns. We were able to get effective, attractive lighting at a price that made sense to us. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are looking for new lighting for your home or are starting a build project of your own.
