Russ the owner and his wife are always there trying to deliver the best service and setting the bar high for owners that are actually being onsite and working. Staff goes out of their way from Heather on deli always greeting with a smile to Sarah on the register and everyone one else. Great little market in Bourne; glad we checked it out! If you live nearby this would be a great spot to pick up daily provisions or things to bring to the beach with you. Grocery options, convenience store items, a butcher shop and deli and alcohol provide shoppers with both some brand name items and then some local options, as well! We went to Gray Gables Market for a bite for breakfast and coffee and the food was excellent. We ordered two bacon, egg and cheeses on a bagel which were cooked to order and a breakfast burrito with bacon, eggs, cheese, home fries and potatoes in a grilled wrap was the real winner. The breakfast burrito is a must try and many of the folks in line at the deli were ordering this option. The coffee was local Cape Cod Coffee and there were a number of hot options available along with the cold brew, a nitro iced coffee and more. The coffee was fresh and brewed perfectly making this a real hidden gem for breakfast! Would definitely make our way back at some point for a lunch sandwich and/or to take advantage of the fresh butcher shop options that all looked to be of very high quality. read more

From a deli to get sandwiches on any kind of bread, even specialty sandwiches, or boars head lunch meat selection to go, maybe a prepared salad, pasta would sure hit the spot. I was actually expecting something much less impressive when I walked in- but still expecting the standard mini market/awesome deli /package store that I previously mentioned is literally every where you look on CC. Sandwich board menu is staggering in its detail and options. Well thought out. Good fresh breads, board head contents , ultra ripe tomatoes and crunch greens. Chili was perfect for a breezy brisk morning in January, and I can easily see that they rotate the specials for the seasons. You can also stock up for an entire weekend of hardcore frat style parties or wine enthusiasts with the wide array of alcohol available. I'm serious you can load up on everything from 20 year old whiskey you've never heard of to natty ice and box wine to fine champagne. As well as the cheese, breads,and other accompaniments. There are also some ore prepared foods and pre sliced deli stuff so you can DIY. Here's what I love the best - EVERYTHING possible is locally sourced. Every last thing! Wish I could rate this market higher but when you walk in at 5:07 on 7/9 and can't get 3 ribeye steaks that are already cut in the case because the "deli is closed" one seems to wonder why?? Amazing! This market has everything you could possibly want. It has a deli, a abundant liquor section, fresh pastries, and so much more. All the food is made fresh and is wonderful. The huge meatballs are to die for. The sandwiches and paninis are great for a quick lunch or to bring down to the beach. I am so happy there is a market that is close by with fresh produce and a variety of things that are already pre made. The other day I was having friends over so I popped by and the friendly employees helped me find all the right cheese and appetizers. They even have a great selection of gluten free items! I haven't actually been inside but I ordered out while working close by and had someone pick it up. We ordered the steak tip special on Thursday. It was the most amazing steak tips I have ever had. I believe you had the option of mashed potatoes or rice pilaf. I went with the rice pilaf and it was very good as well. I would say order early as the daily specials don't last long and they only make up to a certain amount if I'm not mistaken. If I'm ever in the nearby area I'd like to go there myself and see what else they have. read more

I went in there today for the first time because I was told how wonderful the subs are! So I went in to order subs for my employees and I was never treated so rudely in my life.. I ended up walking out. If this is the way your employees are going to treat your customers you're going to lose a lot of business. It's time to re-train your employees how to be professional with the public. Went in for two sandwiches today to split with my husband. Ordered the Mt. Zig Club and a chicken salad with cheese on a wrap. Got home and opened it up to find the club cut lopsided and falling apart and a wrap made with chicken cranberry walnut salad and no cheese, again falling apart. Wouldn't have been a huge deal except I don't eat cranberries due to a food intolerance and it took him well over 10 minutes to make two half put together sandwiches. The cleanest convenience store I've ever been in with the BEST wine, beer, and snack selection. Not a huge supermarket but a family (multi family?) run business that had everything we needed to provide breakfasts and dinners. We stopped here just to get a soft drink for the road. In the back of the store is a little deli, with subs and hot foods. We decided to get subs. It was an excellent decision! I got a turkey sub with warm stuffing and cranberry sauce on a really soft and fresh sub roll. This had to be one of the best turkey subs I've ever eaten. It was just like having leftovers after Thanksgiving dinner. Really perfect. The lady making the subs was pleasant and friendly as was the lady at the register. My friend got a ham and cheese and egg salad sub. Again everything was very good, fresh and high quality. This was a wonderful find and I highly recommend this place for their sub sandwiches. Been going there since they reopened and I always go there to buy candy, drinks other food etc. Supply and demand is always met and needs are always taken care of. Giving it a 4 and not a 5 star because all of the staff are kind, don't complain get the job done and easy for customers besides this one guy who works at the counter who was recently hired and does not stop complaining or saying stuff I don't need to and want to hear as a customer. Went in once and we was like "you know we sell vegetables" because I always buy junk food and it's my prerogative if I do so. He always complains about wanting to leave and how busy it's been all day, like buddy shut up do your job and stop complaining. Legit can't handle that guy and would wish the owners would do something about him because I haven't had any problems with them until now and soon I may stop going there. I don't think it's right for me to get an earful from that guy every time I want to go in and buy something from the market. He also complained to me about how I usually pay in ones. This dude really needs to get his act straight or fired because it is and will drive business out of the market read more
