We stopped at Gravity while in South Haven a few weeks ago and loved it! We sampled a few wines and ended up buying a case of mostly the mango cider. It's heavenly and nearly gone already. The wine specialists were so kind and welcoming especially with a 9 month old child. Who would have thought a winery is a good place for a baby? Gravity was just a place we passed by and stopped in to cool off, but now it will be a must stop the next time we are there. It's spacious, clean, and has amazing wine and cider. read more

Big fan of wine tasting. Brought my mother here and she just loved the logo. When you enter your go to the standing bar by an empty menu. You are greeted kindly and pay for your service. Then you are given these red tokens to place over what you want to sample. One by one you are given samples and you can make notes on the card as you like. Took about 20-30 minutes to complete. Really impressed with this spot in South Haven--mainly since they grow all their own grapes. (I kindof like that when a Midwest winery doesn't feel the need to truck in Cabernet just to have it on the list ‍) Will definitely be visiting the winery in Baroda to see them another time. To the wine lovers... Michigan is a tricky wine spot for the dry drinkers... we've done the wine trails and have always been on the hunt for dry yummy Michigan wine... get the challenge? We stopped into Gravity and Kimberly greeted us as we bellied up to the bar. It was earlier in the day so we had the whole place to ourselves! Of course we ordered a case, although it's not like going to Europe or Napa, but Kimberly made the experience and we always support local, small business. We had a great time here on a pouring Monday afternoon. Kimberlee was super friendly, not pushy and knew the ins and outs of the menu. I think overall we were really happy with what we tried during our tasting but the standouts were the Cinnamon Maple cider, the 'irresistible red' and the chocolate cherry port, the latter two of which came back to Chicago with us. They also had some canned wine blends with enticing fruity flavors for those who don't like traditional wine which I thought was a nice option. We went to two other wine tastings that day and this one was my favorite! They do waive the tasting fee if you buy 4 bottles and you get to keep your glass! read more

Living 45 miles from Napa Valley, I seldom go to wine tasting venues but on a Saturday in Michigan, in the middle of January, that changed. Went to Gravity on a girls weekend and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Kimberlee was excellent in explaining the wines, the Gravity story and in her upselling style- not pushy, encouraging. All ten of us had such a good time. Most all of us purchased wine. Kimberlee and Gravity made me a believer in Michigan wine. Well done. I was really underwhelmed by the tasting situation at Gravity. It was four pours for $15 and your $15 goes towards purchasing a minimum of four bottles of wine. I thought that was really gimmicky and I don't like to be forced to purchase something that I may not even like. They also had some sparkling wines that were at a cheaper price point but were not included in the tasting and it wasn't really made clear that they were not part of the tasting. I've stopped by here two out of three trips to South Haven (it would probably be all three but I didn't think the kids would be into it.) Both times the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection of wines to taste in a nice range. There were plenty of varieties for me to taste (and I'm strictly sweet wines) and my friends who prefer reds and dryer wines. We were all pleasantly surprised by the mango berry cider.
