The young lady that did my nails had the worst attitude I have ever experienced I was so uncomfortable I wanted to run out the door. This place is absolutely horrendous. My friend and I barely made it through the front door. We came in well before closing and politely asked if they could do acrylics. Mind you it was completely empty in there. The lady said no in a very rude tone and said they would not be able to service us at all. She basically told us to go somewhere else. Good experience... nice looking, comfy open space. Sat for a gel mani... they removed "sanitized" tools from 'sealed' bag in front of me. All went well... until I returned from washing my hands to see the manicurist put the same tools back in the bag and seal it. Wait, did I just see a bait & switch? I cannot believe anyone could give this place more than one star if they experienced what I did today. I stopped in for a manicure using nextgen rather than gel because the salon next door told me about it and that it was better. The manager (Caucasian) was barking at the employees (Asian) about where to be. She seemed very curt and matter of fact but I did not let that dissuade me. Everyone manages differently. I asked her what options she offered besides gel manicures and she confirmed nextgen manicures so I asked for that. She put me with nail tech Lulu who set to work on my natural nails using the grinder. The process went like this: she painted some base coat, dipped my nails in various powders, roughly filed them, then painted a top coat. She didn't clip my terrible looking cuticles. No cuticle oil was used. She didn't push my cuticles back from my nail bed. No lotion. No hand massage. No nothing. The absolute bare minimum was provided. I'd say the tools weren't sterilized but she didn't use any besides a file and grinder. Oh wait, she did fish a cuticle cutter out of a Ziploc bag full of other tools. I excitedly thought she'd use it but nope. She set it aside. This experience cost me $45. For that price, I should have received an actual manicure. I debated on saying something to the Caucasian woman but she came off as having a very aggressive attitude with her employees and I was doing my engagement shoot that day and didn't want a pissy face if she gave me attitude. There's no way I'd go back. Their pedicure chairs were the coolest I've ever seen but Oprah could give me a lifetime certificate of pedicures at this joint and I would never darken their doorstep. If you want to feel raped without an actual sexual assault, visit this place. Edit: a company representative (owner?) contacted me via private message on Yelp to tell me what a terrible, pathetic person I am for giving this review. (This individual has only a single 5 star review of the salon, responding to another negative customer review). Very disappointed in this salon, I was expecting better. In my opinion it is your typical chop shop, don't be fooled by the looks of the salon!. That was my experience. They want you in and out. I went in for a gel polish manicure and was out of there in about 20 minutes. A gel manicure should take longer then that. She did each step so quickly it was done half ass! They were not filed evenly, polish was messy. When doing my cuticles she put the gel on then took the stick and made one push back on each nail then wiped it off...now what is that going to do, why bother?? I had the WORST manicure pedicure ever. Hours after my pedicure, my feet were like sandpaper attaching to my blanket! My manicure with an hours was already chipping. I called to speak with the owner he was not available so I left my name and number and had received return phone call. Two days later I decided to walk in to discuss with the owner. Worst customer service ever at front desk ever! I gave this place not one but three opportunities thinking it was just a fluke but getting ignored by the lady at the front while I'm blatantly standing in front of her while she helps people coming in after me each time-not acceptable. Not even a hello. After I said Hi and initiated the greeting and explained the services I wanted she told me to have a seat and that the wait would be 30 minutes. Mean while walk-in after walk-in came in and she took every single one of them back. An hour and 15 minutes later I walked out without being helped or even being offered water like everyone else. I wanted to try this new salon because it looked so nice from the outside. I didn't even mind that they charge $28 for a full set of nails and $10 for a toe polish change, much higher than what i normally pay. However when i sat down at the dusty table that the tech did not even clean off, i was hopeful that i would at least be happy with my nails. The young man who was doing my nails was getting more and more upset whenever i flinched because i had sore fingers, this was upsetting. But i was mostly upset that the nails were thick at the ends and when i asked him to thin them out he got more upset and just walked away! I was sitting wondering where he went when another man came over to fix his job. Finally the nails looked ok despite being a bit shorter and stubier looking than i wanted. When i went to pay however they had tacked on an extra $5 which stated for "long nails" which as you can see by the picture they are not long! Needless to say i will not be going there again! I did not complain about the extra $5 charge, just tacked it up to experience and i will not go there again. OVERPRICED and not better than where i normally go sadly. I had hoped i would love it as it looks so nice! I will say the manager was very pleasant and so were the other people, just that 1 technician spoiled the entire experience with his bad attitude and inability to accept any feedback. read more

I had my nails done on Saturday 12/6 and on Monday 12/8 my gel manicure had completely lifted on 3 nails. I always get gel manicures and this is the first time its lifted in the first couple days. I thought you pay more so it last longer ? I must have been mistaken. I also have bubbles in a few of my nails. This place is has a great look and feel to it but the actual work is very poor. This was my first time at Gravity Nails and Spa and I will now not return since my nails look horrible a few days later. What a waste of time and money. read more

Sadly I have been going here on and off since they opened hoping it would get better and because there aren't any other decent options around. I have never had a consistent experience and have never walked out of there happy with my nails- I almost always end up fixing them when I get home.They are sloppy and quick and pushy on the up sell for pedicures. 3 Strikes and They're Out! Had (past tense) been going here for several months to Tracy for my NextGen nails and pedicure and she cut my cuticles for the last time. And when I wanted her to even out my nails so that they were even (proportionate), she got huffy. Unbelievable! And even though I was a "regular", she talked to her friend in Vietnamese the entire time and did not pay attention to what she was doing - hence, the cutting of my cuticle with the drill. I walked into Gravity Nail & Spa on the recommendation of a friend. I was very impressed by the look, cleanliness, and decor. Every technician uses hospital type sterilized utensils for both manicure and pedicure. The pedicure chairs are very unusual and comfortable. I am very impressed by the friendliness of the staff especially the Manager, Sara. She oversees everything striving for customer comfort. Excellent experience at Gravity nails! Got a regular Mani pedi , probably one of the best I've ever had. The pedicure chairs are amazing and they completely recline you during the pedicure, a little weird at first but then when they are massaging you it was awesome. **Black people beware**I would not recommend this location at all..!! I believe they's an underlying atmosphere of racism at this location in Wellington, FL especially with Jen/Jenny. I am a black man that came in for a simple manicure only that is it. The 1st thing she does is grab her latex gloves as if she's about to do surgery. She proceeded to cut my nails past the nail bed and so low that my fingers are tender to the touch the following day. There is something about that location and since I was the only black man or woman in there you could tell. All the white girls and women were being serviced without gloves as well btw.. I have been to this salon a few times and each time the service was just ok. I personally feel the entire appeal of this place are the pedicure chairs. The chairs are great but the pedicure itself wasn't anything to speak of. I paid for one of the higher end pedicures and the only difference was a scrub. At the end end of the service I was like that's it?! To myself of course because I didn't want to be rude. The Nexgen service was also okay nothing to rave about. Stopped in one evening and decided after patiently waiting on my nails to grow a little length, I wanted to try the Nexgen Gel Nail service in Pink & White. Im so glad that I decided to give it a try, as I normally get A Gel Manicure. The overall total experience was nice and relaxing, She was very patient with me because at first I could not decide on what I wanted... My nails look very nice and She Assured me that Nexgen is overall better and healthier. Also states it should last longer. So far it has been Ten days and They still look very nice. I would rate them a zero if I could. I called 15 minutes ahead of time to make an appointment. I came into my appointment and the girl says that they can no longer take me due to walk ins. I asked her why wasn't I being taken care of first because I had an appointment. The blonde girl at the front then told me to pick a color, but it was going to be a very long wait. Then I said why am I waiting when I had an appointment?! So she asks who I believe is the owners son, the younger guy, and he said he would service the walk ins first. Then she told me "just go." I always go here. Today for the 1st time I can say I will not be returning. Went to get my eyebrows done was greeted promptly. Was told to go In the room and someone will be with you shortly. Waited 15 minuets still no one. Went to the front and was told no one is available yet. With a smirky attitude. Women was rude. When I was just asking where the person was. If you want to go anytime and get a seat, you can probably do so in this large salon. I go between appointments and it's location is convenient and interior stylish, but the reception is usually pissy and the massage chairs are very painful, so I leave the chair massage off. But if you want to go to relax, have a great leg/foot massage or attentive anesthetist, there's a 50/50 chance you'll leave pleased or pissed. The female nail pros seem to be friendlier, gentler, while the males are in a rush, barely look at you or what you're doing and leave steps out. When you get a good gal, the massage or patient under-nail cleaning can be great. However today I had a gal who hurt me when clipping, didn't use a base coat, argued with me, and when done I discovered she had even used the wrong color polish (bright red versus soft peach I'd handed her); they lean you back in the chair so far you have to do crunches to look at what they're doing, and this chair had a metal bar right in the middle poking my back, so I didn't sit up until she repositioned the chair in the end. My bad; guess I shouldn't trust they'll use the polish I selected?! I can't return. You shouldn't go to be pampered and look better only to feel like this...with the wrong polish to top it off! read more

I went there last week to get a pedicure and it was my worst pedicure ever. The gentleman who did it barely scrapped the bottom of my feet and really didn't cut my cuticles on my nails. There was polish on my cuticles and and I felt rushed. Seriously the quickest pedicure ever, in and out in 30 minutes. He had the nerve to stand and wait for me to tip him.
