This is my local coffee shop, it's my go to when I hang out with friends…read more I am very happy to have a specialty coffee shop in this little farmer-esque town. they have pretty fun seasonal drinks as well as a few regular specialty drinks. Their pastries aren't limited per say, but the variety isn't too huge. However, they have a lot of cookie options and bun options. They're not the most aesthetic pastries but they're pretty good, which is all you could really ask for. I've tried their salted bourbon latte and wasn't the biggest fan. But most of the other drinks that I've tried I've liked. I wouldn't say that the flavors pop out at you but the atmosphere and homey vibe keeps me coming back. It could've been a bit more cozy, the all white aesthetic isn't for me, but regardless it's nice and someone else's vision so I respect it. It's not too loud so you can still study here, but it's also not so quiet where you feel awkward to chat. The seating is a little limited, in the sense that single tables are scarce. It's mainly long community tables, which can be a little nerve wrecking for introverts but at least there is a decent amount of seating. They also sell plants from a separate vendor. There are plants, vases, and little trinkets. This coffee shop has a great purpose and mission statement, a lot of proceeds go to end human trafficking. This is a great shop to visit if you want a funky flavor of coffee (or a basic one), if you want to sit in and chat, or if you want to buy a plant; all while supporting a good cause.

Chips that came with it were soggy. Service was nice and served my food within five minutes. From what I remember they serve a red wine flight, white wine flight, glasses of wine, food, and coffee! I know im missing another type of wine flight but am sadly forgetting. Overall, i recommend for a good drink. Also their wines are purchasable. It also seems like people love their other food and not their sandwiches so will give another food item a try next time.

Because I just witnessed the unveiling of their newest masterpiece: a mahogany Swayze in full "Dirty Dancing" lift pose, holding aloft not Jennifer Grey, but a perfectly balanced chai latte. The craftsmanship on those wooden dance pants is UNPRECEDENTED. Sure, their single-origin Ethiopian beans are hand-selected by monks who've taken a vow of excellent taste. But let's talk about what's really important: the rotating display of "Road House" Swayze carvings, each depicting a different roundhouse kick frozen in pine and oak. The one where he's simultaneously bouncing a troublemaker AND pulling a perfect shot of espresso? *chef's kiss* The baristas can discuss coffee varietals with scholarly precision, but can they explain why I just spent three hours staring at the intricate detail work on the "Ghost" sculpture where Swayze's wooden hands are simultaneously throwing pottery AND tamping espresso grounds? The artist even carved tiny clay spatter on his rolled-up sleeves! Their matcha ceremony is a testament to tradition. Cool. But have you seen the walnut Swayze from "Black Dog" arm-wrestling a bear while balancing a French press on his head? They say it took seven master carvers and one Patrick Swayze historian to get the mullet exactly right. The wall of Swayze isn't just art - it's a timeline of cinematic history carved in exotic hardwoods. They've arranged the statues chronologically, with special lighting that makes them appear to dance at exactly 3:17 PM every day. I've rearranged my entire work schedule around this miracle. Five stars for their beverage program - their commitment to craft is outstanding. But INFINITE SWAYZE stars for creating the world's first coffee shop/Swayze sculpture garden. I've started hosting guided tours. Tuesday's theme is "From 'The Outsiders' to Outer Bark: A Journey Through Wooden Swayze Evolution." P.S. I heard they're commissioning a new piece: Swayze from "To Wong Foo" carved entirely from rare purple heartwood. I've already taken out a second mortgage to fund my daily visits during the carving process. P.P.S. The pastries are excellent too, but have you seen how they're displayed on shelves supported by brackets carved to look like Swayze's perfectly chiseled jawline? That's attention to detail. Note: To the health inspector who questioned whether wooden Swayze statues belong near food preparation areas - clearly you've never experienced the purifying power of Patrick's carved gaze watching over your coffee grinding technique. Special Addendum: I'm not saying they should add more, but I am saying there's a conspicuous lack of "Steel Dawn" Swayze wielding a sword made of coffee stirrers. Just an observation. Remember: Nobody puts Swayze in the corner. They put him on handcrafted pedestals made from reclaimed barn wood, illuminated by vintage Edison bulbs that make his wooden muscles glisten like morning dew on a coffee leaf.

They had a serious selection of Jerky, pepperoni, smoked meats and fresh meats, not to mentions sauces, spice, etc. Personally, I don't like sweet meat. Too many places make jerky and add way too much sugar, molasses or honey. When I saw this place had Sugar free jerky, I knew I was in good hands. I tried the original and it was perfect, so much so, I didn't even bother with the sugar free, I'm sure it's good, but since I didn't detect any sugar in the original, I stuck with it and by the clerks testimony, there was very little sugar, so clearly it was not overwhelming. I also got the black pepper and the undisputed champ, Pioneer Jerky. When I saw that, I immediately had visions of covered wagons making their way from points eats in route to unsettled Buckley. Family's staking their claim and living off the fat of the land. Sure, that may be a bold take off a sample of jerky, but you get a taste and post your own tale of origin. The pepperoni was also flavorful, but I think I'm out of my pepperoni phase. I'm used to a dryer sausage with a case that snaps and no one does that anymore. I guess that has become the lanjager. They also had hot links and I have to say, the last few hotlinks I've bought have been terrible. They are more of a spicy hot dog than true flaming sausage. I flew to Oakalnd this summer just to ship sausage home because the place I found doesn't ship and those were the worst hotlinks I've ever had. I bought 4 different varieties and it all went in the trash once I tasted it. I'd give these links 10/10 on the heat scale. I have won heat based food challenges, so I'm no punk and the heat here was real. Most would tap out. The flavor wasn't bad, but it didn't taste like a Louisianan Hot Link. I'd go with Oberto over these. Oberto just has more of a sausage flavor where these are just hot minced meat. Some sage and sausage seasoning would go a long way to elevate these. Overall disappointed, but still giving the place 5/5 for service, selection and savoriness of most of what I tasted. It's rare to get this kind of service, quality and value. I wish this place was closer to Seattle, I would be a monthly shopper.
