I have been to multiple rehabs and multiple detoxes and always ended up back in active addiction. I was referred to PCI as an outpatient service from a detox I had attended. I was able to get group therapy, one on one sessions with a therapist I grew to trust and was prescribed medication that was right for me at that time. Since completing the IOP course at PCI. I am almost 10 months sober. Most time I have ever had, and seems to come almost effortless at this point. I am forever appreciative of Dr. Miriam and Dr. Patrick and the entire staff of PCI. I really would not be where I am with out their support and knowledge.

I wish I could name everyone that were members of my treatment team at Rise, but a few shoutouts to Nam for driving my sad sack self to Rise, baking amazing bread, and being an amazing support from Day 1, Shari & Zach from nursing for the care, fun, pep talks, and compassion, Dr Mark for his wisdom and pragmatic approach that I really resonated with, and numerous others (the chefs are next-level good, Tessa, Luke, Saber, Destiny, Cesar, Cat, Michael, Terry, Adrian, etc). Outside of the fantastic staff, I'll add that the house is gorgeous, the groups are varied and enriching, there's a good balance between free time & groups, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and they do a great job of ensuring that you have access to outside appointments - for example, I was able to go to Passover services while at Rise without having to go through a lot of hoops/bureaucracy. The amenities are fun and obviously appreciated, but the heart of this place is really why I would recommend it to a loved one or friend in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Rise team!!!

I am giving this rehab one star based on its conduct within the surrounding community…read more I am a local resident, a person in long-term recovery, and someone who supports ethical, responsible treatment. I also now spend time investigating and reporting concerns involving fraudulent or unethical treatment practices, so I do not take criticism of treatment centers lightly. I moved into this small horse community in Simi Valley (where you wouldn't even know there is a rehab there because of how well its hidden online) knowing the rehab was located here, and over the past year there have been repeated issues that have affected the neighborhood. Residents associated with the facility have taken off-road vehicles onto trails intended for horses, and patients have frequently lingered throughout the residential neighborhood in ways that have caused concern among residents. There was also a recent incident involving a basketball hoop from a nearby street that, according to what was communicated within the neighborhood, was taken by someone associated with the ownership of the facility. After being told it needed to be returned, the residents were reportedly told they could come retrieve it themselves. What concerns me most, however, is the response when neighbors raise legitimate questions or concerns. In my experience, questioning the conduct of this facility has been met with hostility, bullying, and attacks from people associated with the center rather than respectful communication and accountability. I also find it concerning that, to my knowledge, their treatment centers do not maintain active Google business profiles that would allow former clients, families, and community members to easily share their experiences and provide public feedback. Transparency matters greatly in the treatment industry. Because I was unable to locate an active Google review profile for this location, I am unfortunately leaving this review on Yelp under their sister property in Malibu so that others can at least be aware of my experience with the organization. Based solely on my interactions with the ownership and the way this facility conducts itself within our community, I would not feel comfortable sending someone I love here. Treatment centers should model accountability, respect, healthy boundaries, and responsible behavior. If those principles are not demonstrated in the community surrounding the facility, I believe it is reasonable to question how consistently they are being practiced inside it.

I have seen several psychiatrist in the past but none have come close to Dr Hill. Carla has been my TMS technician. She has been very patient with me, very comforting and caring. I was skeptical about doing TMS at first, but im so glad i invested the time to do it. I have shown significant improvement, and hope the result last a long time. I highly recommend Dr Hill and the team here.

I was going through a terrible time in my life where I was hospitalized. However with the help of Arjun Reyes M.D. and Associates I have been able to do things with my life that I never thought I would be able to do! Let alone dream of! Arjun Reyes M.D. has been incredibly hospitable with me, I love coming into his office every time I book an in-person appointment! I have been seeing Arjun Reyes on a monthly basis for these past 5-6 years and he has been nothing but incredibly patient and caring with me! I have been seeing one of his associates Vanessa also, and she is just as patient and caring with me as Dr. Reyes is! Because of both of my caring Doctors here I have been able to finish school with four associates degrees and am aiming to finish my Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento! I only have about 6 classes left to finish my Bachelor's degree from CSU Sacramento! And this is only because of the immense help of the caring doctors here! If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have gotten as far ahead in life as I expected! Not only on top of my studies I have been able to follow my professional music career at the same time with success! Being in the mental health field, I automatically see what staff is working for a paycheck or if they actually care about mental health and their clients. The Briarr house employees truly care and are passionate about their work. They are extremely underpaid, unappreciated and deserve so much praise for the proficient level of care! The house manager Jules, is an angel. She truly fights for each clients rights and wants the best for them. The clinicians Kate and Isabelle are AMAZING! Kate was my therapist and she is so intelligent and empathetic that fueled my healing process. The whole house staff was amazing as well.. no words to describe the superior level of care I received. Along with the connections, education and support I received I have never felt so much kindness in my life by everyone during my month stay. It was bitter sweet out processing but thankful for this investment to my trauma healing journey.
