Amazing products and amazing customer service! I had purchased a hat for a Christmas gift. I had purchased it early and then when Christmas came around, I realized that I thought his head was bigger than it was - whoops. The people were great in handling the return (it was more than 90 days but the hat still had all of its tags, stickers, etc.). AND the kicker was that when I sent it back, I had forgotten to put in the paperwork on the original order. So I emailed them the UPS tracking number and pertinent information along with my apologies. They seamlessly handled the return without any additional information from me. Thank you sooo much! I love the board shorts they are very high quality. I have been searching online for high quality shorts to wear to the river. I am rough on my clothes, sitting on the ground and rocks. These will actually hold up past 3 trips to the river, usually all other online shorts rip on the third trip out. The hat is so nice and the pattern color will turn heads. Grassroots has the sickest hats and pins, hands down. I like the option (when ordering online) to choose in-store pickup or delivery, and the fact that I forgot to pick up a couple of pins for over three months and they still kept my stuff!! Someone from the store even gave me a courtesy reminder call, which I really appreciate. Store location is in the art district, which reminds me a bit of being back in San Diego (sad face). I'm pretty sure they also host events from time to time, and stock some clothing (leggings for the ladies, hoodies, sweaters). Definitely worth checking out if you're nearby! read more

Came in today for the first time since last year, they have restocked tons of the dopest heady psychedelic shit I've seen in forever. This store needs more credit and Lucas was super dope and helpful and friendly. Couldnt be happier great place to look at trippy swag and art. Up and down we go with a growing business. JUST as these guys seem to get things figured out, things went slip slip slipping again (over the past 12+ months) . They divided the website sales and store sales into individually managed entities, got computer systems, it's almost like a REAL business now. Good idea right? WRONG!! You can lead a horse to water, but if that horse is a prick, well, then you may just wanna find another horse. I'm regularly blown away with the arrogance of the "customer service" people I speak with. No matter of whether I have to update an existing order, have questions about the stock, or experience the results of internal problems GRC may be having (mostly being "really busy breh"), the people in charge of communicating with the public are down right rude in my experience almost to a comedic degree. I often have to follow up on requests that are promised to be updated 4 or 5 times in order to get the predicted outcome. Heaven forbid I call customer service about the circumstance, they sound annoyed and irritated that I'm interrupting, whatever it is they were doing. Even some of the electronic (documented) exchanges I have saved, the people from customer service are openly rude and accusatory. I understand it's a group of young adults doing the best they can with a business that is likely growing and developing at a pace way beyond their experience and I have no problems with that. It's the combination of being short changed by this growth COMBINED with catching attitude heaven forbid I need to make an adjustment or worse yet have a suggestion. I get it, you work hard and would rather be chillin' and I'm in the way of that, but do you really need to make that so vehemently clear to me through out every second of our interactions? I LOVE one of the guys who started this business and the most of the merchandise they put out is second to none. I just wish they could conduct their business in a way that breaks them free from the mental image of a bunch of glaze eyed stoners having massively hettie sessions all day, unless interrupted by the pesky customers with their ridiculous requests to purchase things and what not. I love these hats but was very disappointed with their customer service. I recieved a grab bag where all the hat sizes said they were the same but some were much smaller than the others. I emailed customer service to find out how exchanging sizes might work (because it wasn't my fault that the sizes were different and didn't fit) but even after two emails and two phone calls I had no answer. Finally, two months later, after a third email responding to a promo email, I was finally contacted. The agent told me that they wouldn't have done anything for me anyway (even though it was their fault the hats didn't fit) and that they were sorry that I waited 2 or more months to finally recieve a response but the email had a stand offish tone and they in no way tried to make this up to me. After a short email conversation I asked if there was a place I could leave a review and have, yet again, been ignored for going on two weeks. I unfortunately won't be buying from them any longer because of the amazingly unprofessional way they handled my situations. As someone who has been in management and customer service positions, their response was completely unacceptable. Also, one of that hats sent to me was horribly made and I had to cut the inside of the bills down to size so it didn't cut into my head. read more

I wanted a hat from Grassroots for Camp Bisco. I didn't plan enough in advance about my hat purchase. The customer service on the computer sent me a chat. That person I spoke to, I believe his name was Adam was sooo helpful. He fulfilled my order the same day. It is supposed to arrive the day I leave for Camp Bisco. I have never seen such great customer service. He fulfilled the order within 20 minutes himself. I will 100% buy from Grassroots again. I was amazed by how great of service I was provided. read more
