Just went to an estate sale hosted by this company, and to say that their prices are high would be…read moremaybe the biggest understatement of my life. These people are actually out of their minds. As an avid antique and vintage collector who attends multiple estate sales, garage sales and thrift stores hundreds of times per year. I've never run into such egregiously embarrassingly over the top pricing as at this estate sale. They literally had a framed tear out from a magazine which was stained and was literally just old. Nothing special about it and they wanted $50 for it and the pricing just got worse from there. I actually asked the name of the company to leave them this review because they need to understand that what they are doing isn't fair pricing or getting the best price for their clients. It's literally wasting everybody's time. I will never attend another estate sale if I know this company is in charge of it because I know there won't be anything worth even looking at because everything is priced five times what it's worth. As a note, I am not a reseller. I just like to collect and I'm willing to pay for something if it's worth the price but I'm not gonna pay $60 for a cracked water pitcher because it's from the 60s. I wonder if these people even understand how to correctly price vintage items because I think they just put the highest price they can think of and it actually has nothing to do with the value of the pieces. There was nothing there that had a brand on it that would make it anywhere near the pricing they were asking and yet everything was five times what it should've been. If you have valuable items that are worth money, find a professional reputable company that actually knows the value of things and have them host your estate sale. People just arbitrarily, putting insanely high prices doesn't mean that they know what they are doing or that they are helping their clients make money. You're gonna end up with a house full of junk with embarrassingly high price tags and that's about it.

I get it, you're a designer or something in the creative field, you have a good eye for design, or your best friend was once an interior designer, etc. All the above applied to me and I thought how hard could it be? IT... IS... SUPER HARD and more so, TIME CONSUMING! Unless you have a warehouse full of beautiful candles, vases, wall art and furniture you are not using, you'll need to buy, source, borrow or steal all these things to make your cold, empty shell of a house a home. Liana and her amaaaaaazing team did this for us. A consummate professional with an impeccable eye for all things beautiful, Liana pulled together the perfect look for our house. By the time she was done, it exuded warmth, character and style. We considered a few other staging companies before we decided to hire Stage of Mind but I knew it was going to be Liana after meeting her in person. She came to the house, took photos of the space and provided us a quote within a couple of days. She was super easy to work with, her pricing was very competitive, scheduling was a breeze and her team did an incredible job staging and de-staging the house without leaving a mess or a speck of damage to the property. Last but not least, the house sold for much more than our asking price which we 100% attribute to the magic Liana and her team sprinkled on the property. To say hiring Stage of Mind was well worth the investment would be an understatement. I've already referred several friends and neighbors to Liana and will continue to do so!
