I went there to print some yard signs for a business I'm venturing into, and the guys there were very knowledgeable and patient (which is key when you're as indecisive as I am). They helped me design it and worked with me on all the little details. Their prices were very competitive, and they were able to turn it around quicker than the other sign shops I checked out! The price was amazing, initially I didnt want to put my number on the ad; however, one of the gentlemen shows me google voice and now I have an active line I can use just for business. We've had an empty wall over our couch since we moved in 4 years ago. Recently, we decided a large…read morephoto from our trip to Japan would be a good choice... but really thought a plain ole image would look pretty cheesy. After a bit of research, we managed to end up at Canvas Press. To fill the large space, we thought a tri-panel canvas would be the best balance of style and taking up space. I have to admit I was concerned the image would appear grainy or just somehow not look right stretched. All my fears were unfounded as the canvas exceeded our expectations. We actually had a party shortly after we hung it and got a ton of compliments. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the coupon I found. Our canvas, which is 32"x48" was actually less than the cost to frame a similar sized print. Shipping was "holy crap" quick with ordering on a Thursday night and getting it the next Wednesday (despite choosing normal shipping). That includes getting our proof back within 24 hours and approving it on a Friday night. They also include these awesome "beehive" hangers that make hanging things, especially multiples, amazingly simple. The best part was the hand written, personalized thank you note we got in the mail today. They shamelessly plug Yelp on it, but I can't blame them... it worked! I uploaded the image, check it out. The work to be done when your company merges with another is overwhelming. My part was to get our…read moreold name replaced with our new company name. One of those was 3D letters mounted on the wall of our lobby. Due diligence found these letters to be double face taped up with heavy duty glue, thank goodness no screws. Of course the new manager had to try to remove them and ripped the wallpaper off. Based on the one inch depth of the letters, I could get a canvas mounted to cover them. The search began and I found Canvas Press who could put our new Logo on canvas for a reasonable rate. They advertise gif image could be done, but I had an EPS file. Requesting a quote via email, they were responsive and clear on their answers. I sent them the EPS file and had a copy of the proof within 24 hours. Once I approved it, and another 24 hours it was done. When I picked it up, I explained I need hooks to hang it. They gave me a small bag of hardware. Now the lobby has our new name on canvas covering the old letters and ripped wallpaper. The canvas size I require is W46" x H16" X D1.5". The price was under $200.00 and it looks great.

Said it would take three business days. I called the next day. They had not worked up my prototype. I called again the next day and they said an email had been sent to me to approve the form. I had nothing that said Houston Sign Company. Called again and they said the email was from an individual. All the trash emails I get and they think I'm going to know who this is? I found the lady's email and approved it. Three business days later I called to set a time to pick up the signs. They said they had not even started on it. They sold me a product they did not have. I said "Why didn't you call me?". She said they sent me an email. Why would I be looking for an email. I never found the email. They should have called me. I approved new materials. Because of the screw up on their end, i asked that they expedite delivery. I requested next day. They refused me and took three full days. Because of their screw up I could not get the signs to my friend till the next week. What I thought would be simple turned into a big project because of Houston Sign Company. Not using them again.

They did the standard package of running diagnostics on it (which comes at a standard rate ~$125) and giving me honest feedback that for my needs, they did the best they could with the type of computer I had. All the while, giving me advice for my next computer purchase since this one didn't meet my needs.
