We decided to take a risk and hit this mall after our trip to Outdoor World on a SATURDAY. That's where we went wrong. It was Saturday. While the mall still has every outlet you could possibly imagine; Michael Kors, Old Navy, Coach, Lids, Nike, Bed Bath and Beyond, Aeropostale, Wedding dress shops, formal gowns, Carters, Janie and Jack, the mall is so crazy, I am not sure where or how you actually make it into the shops! Everyone is running one big huge lap, around the circular mall. I was terrified to let my kiddos out of the stroller because I was afraid they'd get run over by the flow of moving people. We opted to keep them put and strapped in the whole time. We basically power walked the mall, and made a pit stop at the carousel which does break that scary flow of traffic because food ya'll! People break for the food court, which is where the carousel is located. We rode that dad-gum carousel for $11 dollars (for three people) and then merged back in with traffic to power walk the second half of the mall. The place is like an amusement park or fair grounds. Sales people yelling at you "Perfume! Get your perfume!" all the while you're trying to dodge out of the way of kids riding motorized giant jungle animals (what even IS that about?!) , a giant kids train "choo-chooing" at you to get out of the way, my kids asking me for a dang $13 dollar walking balloon dog... Let's not even start on the lines for Lego Land, the Aquarium and the Rainforest Cafe. I need a xanex after writing this review... So back to Amazon for all of my shopping mall needs! read more

Used to work in this mall. It was headed downhill for quite some time but they're finally making renovations and improvements. The new(ish) addition of Round1 is nice. Lots of options as far as shopping goes. All the staples. Food court has a decent selection as well. Legoland is great for kids. Personally, Sea Life is my favorite, even as an adult. Especially after they added the Amazon exhibit. Overall, good for a shopping mall. I hate large crowds so I wouldn't recommend going on a weekend, but that's just me. read more

It's an outlet mall, I would not expect the latest trends and the best sellers - BE REAL. You will find that it's a big place with most of the brands you would hope to find. Bottom line, it's got something for everyone... They have plenty of food options, and a large food court. If you have kids, they have plenty of distractions, including an arcade and a bowling ally. They have a huge parking lot and a convenient circular format once you go inside and start shopping. You can walk a loop, so keep track of where you start. Shop til you drop! read more

I love this mall it has all of the high end stores that I like to shop at. Plus just recently they added my Natural hair salon there for my Natural hair products. It is a little drive from the but it is so worth the drive. My hubby and come here mostly before we go on travel trips! read more

There is a store in this mall named Perfect Bodies. This store sells fajas and other body shaping lingerie. Please be careful in this store. Notice that they let you try on a product that's already open and then sells it to you. I bought a garment for my girlfriend. Upon trying to exchange it, one and the salespersons lied and said that she wore it out of the store to keep from letting her bring it back. Who does that? I bought her a better fitting less expensive one on Amazon.....AND you get to return it. DON'T SPEND MONEY IN THIS STORE!!! read more

Spent a few nights in DFW for AA training and was able to get a shuttle to the mall for a few hours. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Clean, not crowded and great stores. Caught an Uber back to hotel and it was easy. read more

I have been going to Grapevine Mills Mall for the last seven years, I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with all the improvements that they've made on the building, as well as all the new signage in the recent renovations. They are also re-doing something that has been desperately on the back burner for too long. The parking lot. They still have quite a while to go before the mall is completely done. I recommend that they work on the bathrooms next. I have to say that's my major complaint about this place. On the other side of the mall, the bathrooms are disgusting. You walk in there and you think it's something out of a horror movie. But on the other side, where are more popular stores are. The bathrooms are much nicer. Because they are newer. But, despite the few flaws, I actually love this mom. It has so many stores, and it takes you a good couple hours to walk around it. I do miss bed bath and beyond being in there, but they did end up leaving when the lease expired. I do you have concerns that if they do not renovate it in time, and bring in more revenue, it is very possible that they will have to shut more stores down. read more

So I don't think it'll be particularly surprising to anyone who's set foot in this mall when I say something along the lines of "whoa. What just happened?" Grapevine Mills is approximately the equivalent of what happens when you turn a mall Up To Eleven, a bit of a circumspect overload of stimuli, packed with vaulted ceilings and some sort of background amusement park-like chatter that never seems to go away, sort of like that bit floating around the internet years ago that when the world was entirely quiet, you could still hear some Cher song off in the distance. I know, go figure. There are a ton of shops happening here, and they clearly have spent real money - things are big, overblown, with a large type Reader's Digest take on shopping. The impression I get from most folks I saw in here on my recent stop in is that this idea is fine, thanks very much, and I will say that I think this mall's great for kids and those looking for a little bit of spectacle while they shop. But one thing it isn't is, well, subtle. I am kind of curious to go back and wander around on a day that's a little less crowded as my last stop in included a weekend day. And perhaps that will prove to be the kicker. In the mean time, just know that while you may ultimately find what you're after here, there may be a little of Vegas in there besides. read more

Holy moly. I came here on the third day of the ice storm and it was PACKED. Like people everywhere. I happened to have a bunch of free gift cards from my Wrapp app and this particular mall had the majority of the stores I needed. You need to prepare yourself before entering this outlet mall. Follow these tips and you'll be fine. 1) Remember where you parked. Seriously. It's like an amusement park here and the entrances look pretty similar to each other after a while. 2) The mall is a giant circle divided into "neighborhoods". It's very useful whenever you're looking for a particular store. 3)Forever 21 cuts through the middle of the mall. If you need to get to the other side of the mall, use this store as a shortcut. Like most outlet malls, there's going to be a lot of people and. Thankfully, this one is weather proof. There's a really nice AMC theater here and I heard there's an ice rink here too but I didn't see it for myself. read more

If you like wandering through masses of humanity trying to find the one store your spouse wants to visit on a Saturday afternoon, this is your place. Otherwise, there are easier outlet malls to navigate. Even my wife said she prefers the one in Allen because you can just drive up to the store you want instead of trekking through the unwashed to get to you store of choice. I really like Grapevine Mills. Over the years I feel like it has changed and over those years there were times I liked it more and less. I feel like years ago it had more outlet store when there were outlet stores and retailers didn't just make clothes for their pretend outlet stores. I loved it and felt like you could get quality merchandise at a really good deal. Then for a while I felt like it got a bit stale and the merchandise in some of the stores was inexpensive but a cheap quality and they mall just started feeling older. Now I like it again. The outside could use a face lift but I feel like the inside has good life and lots of good stores. I think the SeaLife Aquarium and Legoland really helped eat up some space and provide good life to the mall. The Rain Forest Cafe is always packed. It is not the fanciest mall in DFW but they have good stuff and it is easy to park and it is pretty nice and clean and there are good deals to be found. My review is, I guess, a history of my "feel" for the place, but hey, I think I have good opinions... read more

I definitely recommend visiting this mall on a weekday because the location tends to get super packed on the weekends. I visit this mall once every few months, but every time I visit, I ask myself why I don't come more often. There's a large number of outlet stores in this mall. In addition to this, the mall will give you a free coupon book if you check in on Yelp. I also like how the mall is in a circle, so you can walk in one direction and not have to turn back around and look at the same stores again (like Northeast mall, hate that). In order to help you remember where you parked, the mall is sorted into neighborhoods that are numbered. I recommend looking at which neighborhood number you parked at, or what stores you entered beside. A list of outlet stores/normal stores that are worth noting: -Forever 21 (also cuts through the mall to the other side) -H&M -Express outlet (just opened) -Abercrombie and Fitch / Hollister outlet -Last Call Neiman Marcus -Burlington* -Marshalls / Ross* -Michael Kors -Coach (almost always 50% off) -Disney Outlet -G by Guess -J Crew Factory -Levis Outlet -Nike Factory Store *If you usually don't shop at Burlington, Marshalls, or Ross, you should try these locations out. They almost always have discounted MK, Coach, and CK items from the mall. Aside from stores, There's a famous Rainforest Cafe, which is a great place to take your kids (so I've heard). Also there's a Legoland and an Ocean Life aquarium thing. I've seen discounted tickets for these on Groupon, so I don't recommend paying entrance tickets at the door if at all possible. The food court is rather large, and provides a lot of options that are sometimes not available in malls. There's plenty of room to sit if you're just looking for a place to rest for a minute (because this mall is huge). If you get tired before reaching the halfway mark, I would recommend cutting through the Forever 21 and making a smaller loop to get back to your car. No other mall like it in DFW, especially with the number of outlets at an indoor vicinity. Worth your time and saves you a lot of money! read more

This place's clothing stores are so blatantly skewed towards women, for every clothing store for men, there are 10 for women, its ridiculous. And it wasn't always this way either, but it has become lately chock full of those cutesy botique wannabees, Do delight of teenage girls...but not guys. This is a great bargain/outlet mall, its got a bunch of outlets for its pull stores and some other smaller stores that you typically find in an enclosed mall rather then an outlet strip. This has got to be one of the best malls around to shop at with kids! Lots of stores/activities for them. And on the weekends you will find families in hordes. This Friday I was shopping for a very specific gift, so I wasn't looking forward to the mass of people I'm accustomed to getting in my way here :p. I was pleasantly surprised with the parking spot and the number of other shoppers. I would defiantly choose a Friday to do any shopping here in the future. If you don't have a specific destination in the mall for your visit, I suggest parking near Last Call Neiman Marcus, for two reasons. (1) it avoids the movie going traffic on the other side of the building, and (2) it is conveniently located near forever 21. If you find your done shopping (or your legs are about to give out) and you're on the other side of the mall just cut through Forever 21 and you're right near your car. I come to this mall at least once a month. I'm going soon to check out the new H&M. It has some high end store outlets Neimans, Saks, Coach (Coach for half price? Yes please!) There is also lots of stuff to do with the kiddos...Lego Land, Sea Life Aquarium a big indoor carousel and so on. The movie theater is massive and usually really busy. The food court is huge. (Hello, get your shopping buzz on at Chili's!) It's a good place to bring out-of-towner's for photo ops at the Rainforest Cafe. The only con for me is how busy it gets on weekends. You can count on running into little ones that seem to be running around unattended usually. I like to bring visitors here because it is huge and you can spend hours finding new things to keep you busy. One last recommendation... There is a little slice of heaven called the Golden Mango. The fro-yo is so good...cold, creamy, sweet, and tons of flavors and toppings. read more

I don't really think of Grapevine Mills as a mall. Its more of an indoor outlet center; and like similar indoor outlet centers I've visited (in other states), the building has an industrial look to it, with dimly lit corridors that are full of kiosks. This is a place where you shop for deals - from bargain basement items to discounted designer labels. The drawback is that you do need to navigate the crowds, which are often full of kids and strollers. O, and don't forget your walking shoes. This is one of those places where you can burn some serious calories if you care to walk the entire loop. read more

This mall is pretty great. Then again, I only come here for the H&M and Forever 21. It's about a 30-40 minute drive for me here, but until Stonebriar mall in Frisco opens up their H&M, I'm gonna come here and Willow Bend. If you've ever been to Katy Mills mall in Houston, it's exactly the same PLUS an H&M. It is very diverse in shopping and shoppers and that makes it special from other places in Dallas. I love the size of the mall, it's great for people who love to mall walk. Great big H&M and is right across from Forever 21 so my parking spot is close to my 2 favorite stores = me happy. Probably -1 star BC the restrooms were so far away from each other, they smelled and needed to be cleaned, and there were no paper towels or working air hand driers. Super pet peeve of mine when I can't dry my hands after washing them. read more

This is a great "outlet mall" to walk around without all the heat that Texas has been offering this hot hot summer of 2011!! They've got a wide variety of different stores and also have an AMC, Legoland, and a new aquarium if you're wanting something special and fun to do. read more

This place is freaking huge. When you walk through one of the six main entrances you are instantly bombarded with a rush of cold air and a welcome greeting in english shortly followed by a greeting in spanish. It's like friggin Disneyland. Creepy. If you come here make sure you know where you're going. Because if you park at Entrance 2, and the store you are looking for is near entrance 5 - expect a walk. A LONG WALK. Overall it's a pretty decent mall, it has a lot of outlet shops... which is cool if you're searching for a bargain. Theres a Neiman Marcus outlet Oooohhhhh!! You can also find a bunch of entertainment options... a huge Ice Skating Rink... a Vans Skate Park... an AMC 30... a Gameworks... a Rainforest Cafe... you know, stuff like that. This place is a lot like the Great Mall of the Bay Area... just nicer. read more

This is the mall that never ends, it goes on and on my friends. This mall is HUGE so you better wear a comfortable pair of shoes. A good mall to walk off the meal you just had at Love & War. This mall has Legoland, aquarium, and the overpriced Rain Forest Cafe. It has a lot of discount stores. My husband comes for Haggar. I like to come right when it opens because it gets packed! I really like Grapevine Mills. Definitely worth the drive. read more

We drove from Lake Worth all the way to grapevine okay that's on us but when we got there we were excited because it should have been a big fantastic mall it was a one floor mall that each shop look pretty much like the next one and didn't have much of anything to choose from the only saving grace was the The shop called we think the wildlife café I guess it doesn't do a really good job in marketing themselves but they had a really cute huge frog that was perfect for our school that has a bullfrog as it's Basca I hate the screaming animals inside but you know that's on me because I don't like gorillas jumping at me but the snack was really cool and the food is good. I really think that there's probably more shops outside the mall then are in the mall and it didn't take us very long at all to walk it I think the parks at Arlington Hulen Ridgmar are all better bets read more

This mall has all you need and more . It appears to be newly renovated. From High End stores to Discount stores like Ross. The mall is very well maintained. So many kid friendly restaurants and Stores . The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the entry #6 which is the Nike entrance does Not meet the high standards of the other entryways. There is cigarette buds ALL Over the walkway next to the doors , all the time . The concrete needs a good power wash! They have trees that are wrapped with yellow tape with holes in the ground that can be a potential hazard. Grapevine Mall you can do Better UPDATE: Grapevine Mall Immediately stepped up! The entry #6 looks Great! The safety issue was Corrected ! I've seen improvement on the Cleanup. #CustomerService! read more

This place makes me desperately want to purchase a Segway!!! No, seriously, this mall is so huge you can see it from an airplane window and it looks more like a giant factory than a mall. All in all, Grapevine Mills is a magical place. They do conveniently separate everything into "neighborhoods" in an attempt to calm the mayhem, just remember where you parked! Gotta love it all, or none of it! It has so many stores that usually are part of strip malls and they are not all inside under one roof. This place has a little corner for every age and likes of the family. The kiddos have fun at the lego land, the movies, sea life aquarium, or simply ole fashioned walking around the stores. The frugals have plenty to chose from, great finds at discount stores such as jcpennys outlet, the old navy, marshalls, ross and burlington. I debated between a 3 and a 4. I will admit up front, I am not a mall type. I am ok to visit a mall once every 5 years or so. I've been here a few times starting in 2003. Strengths: you can find a few bargains here, it is an outlet mall after all. It seems to stay clean as a whole, except the bathrooms (gross). They continue to modify/update the mall so that it doesn't seem dated and getting tired. If you like l-o-n-g walks, this mall is l-o-n-g. Has an IMAX theater, which is actually what brought me to this area (star wars!). Kid friendly mall with an aquarium and lego land. Weaknesses: not any good restaurants. Standard mall food, nothing special. One attempt at a restaurant, some wildlife place that is really expensive and geared towards young children. Again, don't go to this mall for food. The walk around the mall is exceptionally long. They need a cut through or two from one section to the next. Most of the fun stuff is geared towards young kids, so older farts like me don't derive much from this mall. It's ok. read more

Always packed on weekends. Hard to navigate around kids and families if you're trying to get in and out. I always park over by the Sun and Ski sports store entrance which is a little less crowded. I only go in there to hit up a few places (like the Nike outlet) then I find my way out. I kind of wish they had a better selection of stores. read more

This mall is actually much larger than you would think it is, but it is her desolate during the day, and even in the late afternoons. Weekends could be different, but when I see that makes me think the mall doesn't do well. They have a lot of good stores and outlets but food is heavily lacking in this mall, which I feel like is a staple of Amy successful mall.
