We, (my husband and I) entered the store and the clerk looked up and said "Hello Sir". ...Okay,…read morewell maybe he didn't see me. We went into the humidor and the clerk hovered over us and advised we couldn't touch or smell the cigars. They are all sealed in plastic! I'm certainly not going to buy a cigar that is rock hard, you have to feel them. And we certainly aren't going to try and steal them and shove them down our shirts while he's standing right there! Good Grief! We actually did pick some cigars that we had purchased in the past and liked. They cost over $500. I paid with my credit card. The clerk bagged up the cigars, handed them over to me without looking in my direction. As we walked out the door he said "Thank You Sir". ...Okay, that's just down right rude! I turned and replied, "Perhaps you should thank the person who paid!". We won't be back. There are plenty of other cigar shops in Calgary where you can get friendly service and not be treated as if you are going to steal something.

Well, after circling around, I found the store located next to a Papa Johns in a strip mall off the highway. The place is small but I've been in smaller cigar shops that had 5 times the selection. So, as in the pictures of the place, it can be slim pickings. Limited Cubans and DRs. Premium sticks are hard to come by. At least they had last year's top rated cigar for sale. The shopkeeper was very nice and accommodating and I ended up picking up a stick I really like + one of their own branded one. Tried their brand one first - uhm...it's OK at best. BTW ... Ontario people beware! The sticker shock can kill you! You would think that Cigars would be cheaper there...NOPE! Just be warned.
