We chose…read moreHope principally because of its location near our house and affordability; we ended up loving it for their good communication, community feel, openness, lovely outdoor space, kind teachers, and events. We have two children there - one has attended the program from 2 years of age to graduation, and the other from 8 months to current age of 3.5. Both of our kids really enjoy it there, have made good friends, and we feel they are becoming prepared academically for TK/kinder (knowing all letters/numbers up to 10 before entering TK). We really like that the school is integrated with the church, not because we are religious, but because it provides a greater sense of community. They do really cute Halloween, Christmas and graduation events in the church space. The school is very racially and socioeconomically diverse which we appreciate. The programming is pretty standard (by that I mean, don't expect the same child-centered, organic food only, education you might get by paying more elsewhere) but it has been a positive experience for both our kids.

Before you blurt into this review you should get your facts straight before making this ridiculous accusations. The "good teachers'" retired because they've been teaching for more than 30 years, and one of them (which both of my kids were in her classroom) lost her voice. Sadly, she could not continue teaching. We are very grateful to both of them and we will love them and appreciate them Forever! In fact, one of them at least still wants to be involved with the school not as a regular teachers but still wants to be around. About Mr. Ajayi, how could you possible talk about someone you don't even know? He has been nothing but wonderful to our kids. PTA hired him to run an after school program and he did wonderfully! My first visit, when I was trying to figure out if the grounds were open to the public, no one was around so I thought to read the signage on the fence and sure enough that was the case. In my living in Albany, I came to think of it as an extension of Ocean View Park during its open to everyone hours. If a visitor to the school, signage also clearly communicated to check in at the front desk. Grounds were well-maintained and typically, though not always, open during the posted hours.

Fortunately I went and checked out the school, met with Mrs. Samundra and I fell in love with it. I ended up signing up my daughter and she loved it as well. She wakes up every morning excited to go to school. She loves the staff , they are extremely caring and encouraging. I go to work every day knowing she is ok and well taken care of. Any incident or accident that happens, which is rare, they always let me know no matter how minimal it is. I decided to transfer her from a local preschool to Supreme Kids Academy a few months ago, and in just six months, I have noticed a significant difference in her learning, penmanship, and overall development. Before enrolling her here, I did a lot of research trying to find a great school for my little one. I can truly say she is receiving the best care and education in the Bay Area! Their staff and teachers are unmatched. As a mom who works in education, I can confidently say their curriculum and materials are advanced. There are a lot of local centers and schools that do not have the right resources, structure, or teachers to successfully run a great preschool. Every staff member is so sweet, caring, and attentive to my daughter. You can tell they have a prestigious hiring process because every single staff member carries the values of the school. Not only is my daughter receiving the best care and education here, but she is also receiving the highest level of safety. As a working mom, safety is extremely important to me. They have an app where they send updates throughout my daughter's day. I am in constant communication with them and receive alerts throughout the day, which is such a relief as a parent. With everything going on in schools today, it is comforting knowing your child is safe and receiving the best care when they are not with you. Our children are the future, and investing in their care and education at a young age is so important. We love SKA! They provide breakfast, lunch and wholesome snacks included in the cost of tuition which was a huge help. They helped potty train both my boys in just a short few days and really work with families in developing a plan that works with each child. The cost of tuition is more than reasonable for the services provided. They offer additional enrichment opportunities through music, dance, karate, and gymnastics courses. I loved that my children had the opportunity to be exposed to these different programs during the course of the day as it wasn't always possible during after school hours with a full time job and other children. They offer special field trip days held at school which my children always looked forward to and still talk about (puppet shows, petting zoos, visits from dentist offices etc). Ms. Tia and Ms. Coco welcome the kids every morning and ensure a smooth drop off. It was a huge relief knowing my children were in the hands of such loving staff. My kids literally ran to them! Not to mention Ms Tia is a professional photographer so you will never have a better school picture! They communicate any concerns in a timely manner and I loved being able to check the app for picture updates throughout the day. I always felt any questions or concerns I had were also important to them and addressed promptly. I watched my children's confidence grow as they mastered a preschool curriculum. They learned how to make friendships and how to handle conflicts with the support of their teachers. I really can't say enough good things about SKA. They recently installed solar panels for electric which is awesome! The stadium is great and it doubles as the running track. I'm not sure if you can run on it if you're just a local resident or not. The auditorium is awesome! They have 3 plays there per year all in the summertime. I've seen Gypsy, Into The Woods, and several other awesome plays and musicals. Anyone can try out! It's not just for school kids. The talent is amazing! I urge everyone to head to one of these plays during the summer. It's great fun and awesome to support local thespians! The price is right too! Head on over! You won't regret it!!
