After two adjustments a week for a few weeks he helped me regain my mobility and back strength. Not only did he provide focused adjustments but also gave me a few stretches I should do consistently at home. He's genuinely concerned with patient well being. His certification and achievements are framed on the wall. And he follows chiropractic research and the expanding knowledge within. If you're curious, Dr. Bryan is willing to share his knowledge. I appreciate that he listens to my challenge with back pain and focuses on me as a human being. I can tell he cares about healing people and is plugged into the healthcare field as a whole. The office is clean and presents with a warm, comfortable feel. I like the Atlas statue near his desk as it embodies strength and endurance.

He was very kind to me. BUT, during the adjustment he pressed so hard that the cracks I felt echoed through my whole body. His reply "wow you really needed that" I had never been to a chiropractor before so he was my first experience. Right after, he told me to stand up and asked how I felt. I remember wearing a light pullover and instantly started sweating when I stood up and i started to get extremely hot which i thought was peculiar! I new something was off but didn't know what to expect from the visit or what to do. He rescheduled me and I went home. I started feeling EXTREME pain in my UPPER back. Previously I had lower back pain, that when he went to adjust I felt nothing happen. The pain was still there from before and after the appointment along with new upper back pain!! I couldn't sleep, I couldn't breathe deep. That night I texted him asking what to do and telling him my symptoms which he replied to ice my back, and offered for me to schedule with his massage therapist. After an excruciating night followed by ibuprofen to take the pain away. I cancelled my appointment the next day and DID NOT want to see him again or anyone in his practice. I was so upset because I was training for a half marathon and for my aerial silk performance at the time and I couldn't even breathe! I found a new chiropractor (who has practiced for over 30 years) right away and two days later went to him in salt lake. He assessed my back and said that TWO ribs had been dislodged!! TWO!!!!! He lightly pushed them back in and was so gentle. After that I was able to take a deep breath in for the first time in three days. This new doctor did say I am not sure if Dr. Thompson pushed these ribs out or if they were about to come out and he was the one who shifted them. Dr. Thompsons adjustment compared to this experienced doctor of 30 years was very aggressive! Know that I have had an Extremely active lifestyle for over 20 years and never had this problem with my ribs until seeing Dr. Thompson. I have debated to write this review because Dr. Thompson did refund my money and was kind at the appointment. But my ribs have been shifting in and out for a year!!! I have received numerous massages over this past year to deal with the pain and each time they say my back is swollen and each time they touch where the swelling is it is the exact spot that my ribs have shifted out. My training/working out has changed dramatically due to my ribs being more prone to shifting out of place. It is now a constant battle of recovery. I have stopped running because of my ribs giving me difficulty and the constant impact causes them to shift out more frequently. I have lost faith in the chiropractic community and will NEVER go again to anyone!!! I came in with one problem and left with a year of new problems. I would give this place 0 stars but I hope people see this review. Just because someone has 5 stars doesn't mean they are someone you should trust. I am a person who does a lot of research before trying something new and this round I had some VERY VERY bad luck.
