Everything seemed great! He was knowledgeable, lots of equipment, super nice. He did a very aggressive adjustment on my whole body. It was terrifying. I thought I was going to fall the whole time. It was so disorienting being ordered in all these strange positions. But I went with it. I went home in pain. That pain grew. It grew to the point I was on my hands and knees sobbing hysterically, rolling around trying to find some relief. It took two hours, 3 pain pills, high dose muscle relaxers, and 3 anxiety meds to get me to calm down enough and get the pain to a level I could sleep. I spent 4 days icing, resting, and taking narcotics and muscle relaxers trying to get relief. It did not hurt even 1/4 of this before my adjustment. They did not instruct me on what to do for pain. Did not instruct me on how to deal with increasing pain. There is no way to reach them after hours. There is no help available. I'm sitting in the doctors office now hoping they did not do any permanent damage. Please research before you go anywhere! Especially here. You will be left alone to deal with your pain and that is unacceptable to me.

Dr Stromberg, Dr Amon & Dr Tolman have all adjusted me and it's hard to pick a favorite because I feel like they are very detail oriented in their care, I never feel rushed, & they don't let me leave until all my issues are addressed, SO THOROUGH! I also think every person in the staff is wonderful and so caring and kind up front and the girls in back listen to me whine and give me exercises and therapy for my aches and pains. So yes, i can't think of anything negative . They aren't open Thursday but that's not true i can go to there layton office in a pinch. The VA has turned down my authorization for care here, and alot of other VETS, because of their asinine ideas. I come here on my own now through my personal insurance as I know I get the care I need. The adjustments to my neck and back helps me make it through rough times. Combined with the deep tissue massage helps me dramaticlly. Went to Doxey Family. Chiropractic , the chiropractor was great my adjustment went well , billing…read morenot so much . My first visit I payed out of pocket $50.00 I didn't have my updated insurance card with me (not an issue), the second visit I had my update insurance card. They entered My info to see what my insurance covered . When I inquired what my insurance covered , they told me that they could not tell, that they Would need to bill my insurance and then the insurance will tell them after . I should have been suspicious from then . When the bill came back for 340 out of pocket . If I had payed out of pocket from the start it would be $ 50 first visit 40 for the other 4 hrs plus 45 for 1 massage= total 255 What was actually billed insurance paid 150 + out of pocket 340 = 445. When I called discussed this with Doxey Family about the billing they nonchalantly said " well next time when you visit we can switch your billing to Out-pocket only since it would be cheaper" I replied with I'm not going back and paid the billed . Just be aware of your billing with Doxey family . Not going back!
