Like all Lagkahuset shop, you have to pull number and wait for your number to be called. A bit too clinical for a bakery and cake shop, you might say - but it wasn't a rush hour and I got served immediately. I asked for a small cortado and the girl behind the counter asked if I wanted to decide how much the milk would be myself. Uhmm, okay - maybe she experienced that many people confused cortado with latte instead but I guess it's always good to decide yourself. So she poured the milk in front of me and waited until I said stop, which was right after because I wanted a cortado not a latte. That's a bit odd part, but hey - it's a good (emergency) place to have a coffee and a bite (if you're into sweet stuff) and a good people watching place since it's just next to the station. Next time I'm stranded here again, I'd probably go here again :)

We'll buy a big bag of our favorites, and then eat half on the way home. Everything is just perfectly made. It was a natural choice, then, for our wedding cake. I'm not much of a cake fan, but I *am* a funfetti fan. However, my non-traditional quest for a plain vanilla cake with sprinkles was met with significant resistance from the fancy bakeries in town (who wanted to shove it full of jams and creams). Eventually, we were drawn back to Kirstens. The team kindly listened to our request, and worked with us to make the most beautiful and enjoyed funfetti wedding cake there ever was.
