The house I was purchasing to get the countertop Installed in fell through. Jayson my sales person would not return my call or text after he knew I wanted to cancel the order. It took me three days to get a hold of the manager. I called them immediately after I knew the purchase was falling through. They would not give me a refund of any kind said I could have a store credit for the $900 they took from me. The issue with that is I'm not purchasing a house so that does no one any good except the the company that took $900 from me and is keeping all the money did absolutely nothing to earn. The general manager called me back. I believe his name was Chris. He proceeded to tell me that it's "company policy" that they can offer refunds at any time. If anyone has understanding about business they know a small company or even big company get overridden all the time. Do not get caught up in the BS with this company. I'm sure this company does great work but the way they do business is not OK!

Our experience was terrible. Here's our fireplace marble. The explanation we got for this…read moreunacceptable installation was "we were matching the top of the firebox." This is off by over 1/4 inch. We have had to order fireplace doors at an extra cost of $2600 to cover the uneven edges. This is only a sample of the other installations Upstate Granite did in our house. A very stressful and lengthy process to even get to this point. Don't recommend. Every step of our process was stressful and exasperating.

Chris, Natalia, and their crew are the real deal! We had a horrible experience with a company that…read morebills itself as a "granite and tile" company. Three representatives of the company said (before we paid our hefty deposit) they'd have no problem working around our bathroom tile backsplash, and then their measurement guy said he'd only do our bathroom if we ripped out all the tile (of course, he said this after the company had our money). That sent us scrambling for another company, and we were so fortunate that we happened upon Nabas Rock Stone. They easily removed our cultured marble countertop (having only to break off small bits of the two corners that were tucked under the backsplash) and got the new countertop in without any damage to the tile or the mounted cabinet (that the "Granite and Tile" company told us we'd have to take down, thus risking wall damage). What really blew us away was the skilled craftsmanship of Chris and his crew. We have a large kitchen and a very neutral stone, so Chris fabricated our kitchen with only one seam in our countertop. His crew does beautiful work around tough elements of a home. Specific to us, they notched the stone around our chair rail in the kitchen so we didn't have to hire a woodworker to make it all look right (as we had been told by the other company that we'd need to do). Every place in our home where the stone met molding or tile was done perfectly. I don't have to hire a tile guy to do any work on my tile backsplash, a woodworker to do repairs, or a painter to fix wall damage. It just could not have gone better once we found the right stone fabricators. We were without sinks by the time Nabas came into our home, so they made us a priority and got everything (for three rooms) ordered, fabricated, and installed in a week. Their prices are comparable to companies that just can't or won't deliver a quality outcome. This is the best experience we have ever had with any contractor (and the longest review I've ever written because they are just that good)!

We will be calling on Chris again, hopefully soon for an outdoor kitchen! We still haven't moved into the house yet, so these photos really don't do justice to how beautiful these truly are. Kitchen is quartzite and bathrooms are granite. We selected the stones from Slabco in TR. Chris picked up the ones we wanted, measured and confirmed exactly what we wanted, cut the templates at his shop, and installed them within about a week - 10 days! We decided to extend the granite in the master bathroom to cover the space under where cabinets will go, and Chris came back really quickly to do the work - again at a good price, and again at fantastic quality. We also had an issue where the sink drains we'd chosen required more space. Chris was super responsive and was able to come over the same day to widen the drain holes in minutes. Cleaned up after himself too even though others were leaving messes. Can't say enough good things about the guy. He'sa pleasure to work with. Thank you Chris and team!
