Their workmanship is also questionable also. Two men arrived one spoke broken English the other didn't understand. Our dogs let us know when they came, no knock, no warning, just started tearing off our old gutter. I found litter from the install. My wife and I are a couple months shy of 80 and both on disability. I am a disabled veteran, and we had to spend our saving to pay for this product. We are planning for our afterlife expenses to save our children from having to plan it. All I wanted them to do was repair one area of gutter on our shop. The salesperson, Jonathan, came by to inspect and let us know about the repair. He strongly suggested that we replace all of our gutters. I have told myself many years ago that when I got older, don't fall into a scam. He quoted us a number of estimates and pushed for closure. I fell for the trap. We were quoted $5200 for 179 linear feet of 5" gutter with 6 downspouts. Then I contacted the company and they forwarded me to a Mr. Youngblood in Florida. I told him that I was unhappy with the overall experience with them. His response they were an Owens Corning platinum Preferred Contractor earned by .03 percent of contractors nationwide. Whoop ti do. That their pricing reflects the premium materials and expert service that comes with this certification. He also stated that the lower price may feel like the better choice in the moment, and not always the best long-term value. This is our forever home; we take pride in keeping it up. Don't need his rhetoric and continued sales pitch. They do not provide hard copies of each transaction, they are paperless. No more communication just kicked me to the curb. This company is a company of lies, cheating and stealing from the start and to the finish. No character, no remorse, all they want is your money, no matter how they get it. They scammed my wife and me. I would not ever, ever recommend this company for any repairs or installs. I highly recommend that anyone wanting work done, us local credible installers. Also, their warrantees are useless, boring dribble. Aluminum lasts a long time, workmanship you get what they provide and service, BAH, is covered up with deceit. All I wanted them to do is help with a refund from the extreme cost they put on us. DO NOT USE Home Genius Exteriors they really don't care about you; they care about their line of cut succession. Well a couple of weeks later I get a call from Logan Stotler with a company called United Contracting & Roofing and he stated that he was working in my area and wanted to know if he could come by and do a free roof inspection and I was like sure why not. Well I must say upon completion of the roof inspection and going over the cost for replacing it, I just knew that this was the company to go with. The process from start to finish was smooth and I could tell that he was not trying to get over on me or one up me, he was truly genuine and he earned my trust. I was concerned about the fact that I had solar panels and was hoping that they would not be an issue and they were not an issue at all. As a matter of fact I needed another company to service my solar panels as the company that installed them has since gone out of business, so this worked in my favor. I was so pleased with Logan's knowledge and expertise in helping me throughout the process and he always and I do mean that he always was available to answer any questions or concerns that I had. The guys that removed and installed the roof was so professional and clean up was exceptional. They went all over the yard with magnets to pick up any nails that may have fallen outside of the tarp areas. But when I met Tom, the timing couldn't have been better. We knew it was time and there was clearly hail damage. Tom was friendly, courteous, respectful of our time, and followed through with the things he said. He worked with us and our insurance company and made the entire process seamless. The process was so much easier than I thought it would be - all because we had Tom's help. The crew finished the work on our roof in a timely manner and they were all complete professionals. Matthew, the project manager, made sure he attended to all of the details. The crew worked diligently to protect our garden and outside equipment. They put a wooden box over my just bloomed iris and saved it, as well as a small Lenten rosebush. They also covered my husband's electric vehicle charger with a board. They did very fast and meticulous work, and when they cleaned up, they left our property better than they found it. They even offered to come back if we found any nails and do an additional sweep. (We did find some nails but very few in my estimation.) They covered everything with tarps and worked hard to clean up the property and leave it pristine. Everyone was friendly and they worked together as a team. It had been about four months since they completed our roof and it still looks wonderful! We met with Terry Lanford, who guided us through this process. He handled our insurance company ensuring that we would be able to get all items done even with a 1% overall insurance deduction. Their prices were fair and affordable. His crews were excellent, they were courteous and professional keeping everything clean during their work. Davis exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them. Five stars out of Five.
