Huge shout out to Donny Moreton and the roofing crew at ATD Restoration!! We are new to the world of home ownership and had no knowledge of the process of storm damage. He showed up at our door one day and offered to do a free roof inspection since we had some bad hail storms in the past couple of months. I had seen a bunch of my neighbors getting new roofs installed and had just said to my daughter, the previous day, "How do you know if you have damage" and low and behold Donny showed up the next day. ATD didn't show up for the originally scheduled install day. We were told the roof project would take one day to complete, but it took well over a month. They improperly installed the roof 3 times. Some of the problems were improperly staggering the shingles, installing damaged shingles, and installing a different colored shingle. Several times they said they would be out on a certain day to fix it but didn't show up and didn't bother to tell me they were no longer coming out. Then they would randomly show up to the house without notifying me. They broke one of my outlets and an interior hanging light. They also left tons of trash (coffee cups, cigarettes, and stuffed a chip bag in our trailer hitch). They also left roofing material everywhere, including sharp nails which ended up causing a flat tire on our car. They also took 3 of our tie down straps and a full sheet of plywood. And left our attic space covered in debris. Would not recommend ATD! read more

Daniel, the sales guy was fantastic. He went above and beyond with us and working with the insurance company. The office and scheduling team were great as well. The new roof looks good so far. However, just as others have reviewed the roofers did not work as cleanly as they should have. They were supposed to use tarps but they stopped using the tarps (that have large holes in them) after a couple hours. The hot shingles they removed laid on the yard and burned up the grass in many spots, a stray nail punctured a hole in our garden hose, and even after asking them and talking to their supervisor they continued to carelessly toss shingles down landing on our hanging party lights. I would next time request they completely tarp the house as I've heard some other companies offer to improve the cleanliness and cleanup process. It's impossible for them to get up all the nails and debris without doing so. read more

These guys were amazing. I had been trying to get my roof repaired since shortly after Hurricane Florence. The insurance company had significantly underestimated the damage to my roof and consequently I had insufficient funds to get it repaired. I went to 4 other companies to attempt to get repairs made: none of them were interested in the business and ignored me. ATD actually sought me out, and found me as a customer! After a quick conversation they had additional personell on site who ascertained what was damaged, what needed to be done, and had a plan to go forward. ALL THAT WITHIN MERE HOURS! I was worried about having a new roof installed after a hail storm but Kyle with ATD Roofing walked me through each step of the inspection, the insurance adjustment, and filing the claim. The crew arrived on time, worked without stopping, and protecting my flowers and yard. They finished in one day as promised and cleaned up before leaving. But most of all I was impressed by the follow up. By one o'clock the next day both Kyle and one other person came by to check on the job and see if I was pleased with the work. Both of them did another magnet sweep of the yard looking for nails. A week later, they stopped by to check and rolled for nails again. Had our roofing replaced after some noticeable leaks where coming through. They were very open and helpful with the process of going through our insurance. Once all was approved and scheduled, the crew showed up sunrise day of and where finished in about 6 hours. The grounds were well swept afterwards, minus a few tack nails, and the only way it is noticeable we had our roof recently done was the sign they offered to put in our yard. We were originally denied our hail damage claim via another contractor. ATD contacted us a bit later and stated that our roof did have hail damage and with their information, our claim was approved.
