My wife and I are extremely happy to be here. They are very good listeners and have many different services to choose from.

Bank of New Hampshire - Great bank! Great products! The staff is wonderful

I just needed to update information and ensure they unblock a purchase i was making. To my dismay I…read morefound out the security department for the Bank of Hampshire is in the Philippines. No American is being paid to protect your assets in the security department in Philippines. First Security Team Member would not answer my question of which country I was speaking with. I had to escalate to a supervisor to have my yes or no question answered. I just read a review on Facebook that they were sad they were contacting Chicago. I would have been ok with an American employed in the states protecting my assets. I am not so happy with job outsourced to a lower paying country by a "Trusted Bank." The branch employees are great. I spoke with customer service excellent but I wondered if he knew he was transferring me out of the USA. We have homeless and job less Vets that these jobs should go to. We have Philippino Americans that need a job in the United States too. The security of this nation is questionable at best right now. I am going to look for another bank. I will add a new question to my inquiries; are all the departments involved in the security and the safety of my assets provided by your establishment based in the United States of America and can I receive customer service from within this country for all services you provide?

St Mary's Bank

St Mary's Bank

I have an Auto Loan with St Mary's out of Manchester. I live in Maine. I've had my loan since the…read moreend of 2014. They have been ok, for the most part, except I received a notice that one of my payments was late, yet I had already made the payment. To ensure everything was ok on their end, I placed a call and spoke to a very rude person. Basically told me it was my fault that the payment processing got held up between my Maine checking account bank (which has free bill pay, so I always use it to avoid fees/sending checks) and St Mary's. I get that things happen and I likely should have gone in to my bank sooner to schedule my payment, but they were going to assess a fee until I told them I had screenshots of my banking transaction with the date to prove my case. Moving forward, I haven't had any issues, I've never missed a payment, etc. Last month I missed a call from them because I was in a work meeting. My father frantically starts tying to get a hold of me, telling me I need to contact the back. He is a co-signer in my loan as I got a better deal at the dealership with various discounts he qualified for. Talk about embarrassing...yes, he's a co-signed and obviously if there's something going on it's only legal to contact him, however they didn't even give me time to call them back first! He was under the impression I had missed two months of payments, which sent me into a spiral. I went in to my online banking with my bank and confirmed I hadn't missed any payments. After a ton of phone tag, I did speak to a pleasant person in the collections department (hearing that title is not exactly friendly, though!). She said they were just checking in when I'd be making my monthly car payment and that she had no idea why my father thought I was two months behind. Anyway, I told her I had scheduled a payment that same day as I was speaking to her and that it should go through the following day. All was good... Until today. I get a call from collections. I answered. "Just looking for your payment. When will that be made?" Tomorrow. "How will it be made?" Uhhh, the way I always have, nothing has changed with that. "Ok, we will be on the lookout for that." Now, I get that my actual payment due date is a bit earlier in he month HOWEVER you do legally have the right to pay after that, with the risk of an added fee being placed on your loan, and a payment must be at least 30 days late for them to take any action/report to credit bureaus. I've always paid my payments and pay a little extra when I'm able. I don't even have a large balance left to pay off--thankfully, as this experience has left a sour taste for me.

I was initially on hold waiting when I got disconnected. Called back and opted for a call back. Finally got the call back a couple of hours later only to be told I have to call another time because they can't help me at the moment. I am so frustrated I regret ever opening an account here.

Just received a call because Citizen's Bank is very upset that I posted something negative and NOW they wanted to know what could be done to fix my problems. The woman I spoke with continued to make excuses for why everything takes so long, never once apologized for anything I've been through, continued to cut me off in order to make excuses for why it took 15 days for a Debit card to be mailed to me and it will be another 7-10 days for a PIN number to arrive thereby denying me access to my bank accounts unless I take time off from work to go get money. All she kept repeating was, so you want to know who is on your bill pay. I told her I wanted her to understand that because of the disrespectful way I've been treated, their refusal to reinstate bill pay for me after almost 3 weeks, their refusal to overnight a debit card without charging me, etc was why I left. I felt like I was not being heard or taking seriously. She made me feel as though my complaints and concerns were wasting her time. It just goes to show that Citizen's Banks doesn't care about their members. So remember - IF YOUR CITIZEN'S BANK ACCOUNTS EVER GET HACKED, CLOSE THEM ALL AND GO TO DIFFERENT BANK. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR MONEY AND ESPECIALLY YOUR BILL PAY. ONCE THEY BLOCK YOU FROM BILL PAY, YOU'LL NEVER GET BACK IN!!!!
