Despite some installation problems (incorrect template measurements) which required some rework, I still would have given them 4 stars, and I referred them to a friend, who also had them install new countertops. Now comes the issue ... the company rep had promised me a $50 referral fee for anyone I referred. He rep left the company and now Granite Forever wants to ignore that they owe me $50. Not happy ... would not recommend them for that lack of integrity alone. read more

4/2018.....Eureka!!! For weeks, my husband and I looked all over SW Florida for a slab of granite we liked. We wanted something that was dramatic with sort of a white background. We searched a lot of granite stores from Tampa down to Naples, Fl..... were quite surprised to find it in our own back yard. Granite Forever in Port Charlotte. A man "popped" out of nowhere... his name was Bob and he was the salesman. Very nice guy with a big smile. We explained that we were VERY EARLY in our house building plans. He said... no problem, we'll hold it for while. We looked around their vast selection and Voila'.... I found it. Dramatic with a white background. We put a deposit on the slab. Little did we know it would take longer than we expected to install. They actually held it 15 months!! With absolutely NO pressure to move it along. They smiled and held it for us. Tommy came out to template the counters, we discussed how I was trying to work with the grain. Installers, Matt & Mike came out to install. Then, Mark, the owner, and Bob came out to the site to take a look. Again, all very nice guys to work with. Though we are still in the process of completing our project, I thought I'd post some of the pictures. (I'll post more when completed.). We really, really like the granite. I went to Granite Forever due to an overwhelming number of recommendations from a FB group. I met Bob at the shop, showed him a picture of my new cabinets and he immediately took me to the perfect piece of granite. He was out to my house the next morning taking measurements and had a very fair quote within an hour. 2 days later templates were made and only 1 week after they were installing. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!! I was visiting my best friend in Rotonda West Fla a few weeks ago. She a middle age woman like myself a widow and is on social; security. She always wanted Granite inher kitchen so she went to this company and was charged $3937.00 and I have to say I am not a professional on counter tops of anykind but her kitchen granite was installed all wrong. One piece was cut off grain and made her whole kitchn look off balance..they cut the granite by the sink all wronge and it does not even hit the swink so all wzater goes behind sink to where I don't know. It took her 6 month, she desperately wanted to speAk to the owner and left 4 messages but no call AS OF this day, not a one. She got 7 months later some money off bill but it was not enough. Go anywhere else but not to this uncaring company . and they have all outside labor, commisioned help so be aware. read more

Don't go near these guys! I had 3 beautiful level 5 quartizite slabs with lots of veining on hold for kitchen countertops. Mark on his own, decided he only needed 2 slabs therefore, the veining was installed with no forethought and the end result was one slab with veining traveling end to end and the other slab butted up against the flow at a 90 degree angle - no continuity. In other words it looked like shit and the beautiful veining was chopped at the focal point of the peninsula. At no time was the cut or layout discussed with us. When we refused completion he become very defensive and tried to tell us once it was seamed it would look better. Can you believe that? Mark was extremely condescending and chauvinistic. We pulled the entire job and finished with a reputable company. They recut and used the 3rd slab and the end result is gorgeous. STAY AWAY FROM GRANITE FOREVER. read more

Built new home forever granite supplied granite lots stains and chips. Mark came out agreed stains put there by install. Rubbed some stain lifter on. Promised my wife he follow up. Never did. Stains and granite looks like shit. Sorry only way to explain. Buyer beware. Does not stand behind there product. So Jamie offers nothing to replace granite. I stopped in on 11/18 left my number with mark. Still no offer to replace granite. What's with that kind of answer. ??? No good for customer. Up date 8/17. Still no offer to replace. The granite. They delivered and installed wrong marble. The marble had 2 penny size brown spots that looked like burn marks. They said it was damaged at the fabricator so they filled it in with brown filler. They should never have delivered and installed the countertops if they had defects! read more

Not a good experience . Our counter was templated three times, and still a side was put in turned the wrong way. The sink was not put in properly and we got a song and dance that it was too big. Absolute nonsense as they were in possession of our sink during the templating and cutting process. Times were scheduled and no one showed up. To top it off, their salesman sent emails to our cabinet company and misspelled our name in a derogatory manner several times. We now have to arrange for someone to put our sink in correctly and luckily, our coffee pot will hide the granite that was turned the wrong way. DON'T GO HERE. read more

I will start with the positive -the granite is beautiful but it stops there. I wouldn't have gone on Yelp but for the response the owner left on my Home Advisors review which is where we found them. We are from out of town with limited days to get work done. Therefore we purchased and then promptly scheduled a full month ahead. I took a vacation day to be there. The schedule was confirmed by phone call made by GF. That as about the last phone call they initiated. They were due -1st job I was told, at 9:00. I called at 10:45 and they were "not ready" according to Brianna. I received another phone call at 3:30 that they "maybe" could come that day or they could come at 9:00 Saturday am. They showed up at close to 10 and were nice but left in a hurry - asking me to sign the release and for payment. I found after they left the acetone they cleaned up with had spilled on my cabinet front and took off stain . The caulk lines are messy as well. The owner thinks my low review is un fair because my granite is pretty. Last I checked that's due to nature. He also stated I hadn't informed him of damages. Why would I? customer service isn't a strong suit with this company if they think scheduling issues keeping me hostage 2days isn't a big deal. read more

I contracted with Forever Granite to install new countertops in my small kitchen. I picked out the granite and the install was set for Monday 11/21. By 11:30 Am on that day I had not heard anything from the company so I decided to call. After having to leave a message I got a call back and was told that there were behind schedule and the install would probably not happen that day. They wanted to reschedule for a week later. Since I felt they should have called earlier to tell me they were not going to be able to make it and their reschedule was not acceptable to me I "pitched a fit" and said they either install this week or forget it. Bottom line they did install on Wednesday 11/22 and I have to say that the installers did a wonderful job. The countertops look great, the seams are hardly noticeable and the kitchen looks are terrific. Bottom line the office help needs a lesson in customer service but once you get past that the installers are terrific. read more
