We are building a NEW build/house. I contacted my builder GC bc when I saw these, I was…read moreAPPALLED!!? EVERY.SINGLE. Brand new windows look like my child took a saw and hacked them. They are jaggered, asymmetrical, shotty looking windows. Not only do they look like shit but they are so jagged that it could hurt or cut someone/my kids lifting or banging into it. I'm now also concerned because of all the negative recent reviews, I'm actually questioning on how well they will work; and if they work anything like they look, I want my money back! I'm not sure why they are even "angled" and not a straight vinyl lift. In all the houses we've owned we never had brand new windows aesthetically look so awful. Since it's the bottom you can't even hide them. My GC/Builder said Harvey would replace, well the "last pic" is the "replacement"???!! I wasn't there, but they "replaced" or was told, one but it literally looks like they took a "buffer/sander" rather than have the angles look either symmetrical and smooth and even which it is not. I am writing on here to see if anyone has had this problem or is this a bad batch or is this literally the quality & cut of the interior sash. Also, looks like I'm not the only one as found this on the web... I would GREATLY appreciate someone from quality control management to contact me.

Heard of MGI's weekly remnants sale & found a Carrara-like fabricated quartz that went perfectly with our newly renovated colors. We liked it so much that we decided to make a mantel top it out of it as well. Although most of their trade is with installers, Tony was happy to explain the fabrication process to do-it-yourselfers like us: cutting to size to a customer-provided mockup, softening selected edges, polishing added faces as needed. He was very patient with my mistakes & revisions. We got a very attractive & affordable result. Tony obviously enjoys what he does, including his customer interactions. I couldn't recommend MGI more highly.

I work for a residential remodeling company and we had an issue with the stone fabricator we had been using for a project that had resulted in us needing a counter fabricated, delivered, and installed on pretty much a two business day notice. Not only did Mimi provide me with an accurate quote within the hour, but she went out of her way to be pleasant about it and make sure I absolutely had everything that I needed to have our project continue without a hitch. Working with vendors every day, I rarely see this type of attitude and commitment. I cannot say enough good things about how smoothly and pleasantly the process went. We will definitely be returning to provide more business to MGI.

The customer was frustrated with something that seemed to be nobody's fault. Nick was cutting cedar planks for him and the customer kept going at him about not being able to complete his job with what he purchased after the cuts he requested were made. Nick remained calm and polite. He asked the customer what he could do to make him happy and obliged as best he could. I was extremely impressed but not surprised. I was politely directed to the rear of the store where two employees assisted me immediately, listening attentively to my need for two boards and my uncertainty about color and type. I had my contractor's invoice from 2020 which turned out to be for the pressure treated wood for the new deck built then. LP and Izzy together were able to go to my contractor's page, find the specs about the TimberTech used, and refresh my memory about the color. They gave me a sample board and a TimberTech Source Book, encouraging me to call the company about the strange bleached-out stain on my deck. They also quoted me the cost of two replacement boards for my handyman to purchase for the repair. Problem solved. LP and Izzy were friendly, personable and eager to be of help... and at the end of a long Saturday. So, please add this review to counter some of the really negative ones I read on this website.
