Or a nurse. To make an appointment telephone 029 2048 8299 during opening hours, or call in personally at reception. They offer a range of services over and above General Medical Services, including Maternity Medical Services (Antenatal, Post Natal), Child Health Surveillance (which sounds a lot more sinister than it actually is), Baby and Childhood Immunisation Clinics and more. The building has access, through the car park at the rear, for disabled patients.

I say this because I have found it hard myself when I've been trying look up certain companies information and details about the place and to have a good photograph on hand to know what the company looks like. So it is great to have people like us going out and about experiencing places like this surgery. Or by simply taking a trip down memory lane; by writing about where we have been in the past. This surgery is a small place where it has a reception desk and a waiting room for you to wait and here your name be called for a doctor's appointment. Swine Flu Vaccinations are taken place here at this surgery now. This is particularly for those people who are 65 years of age or older and women who are pregnant. You need to go to the surgery to make an urgent appointment. The building has access for disabled patients, but be aware that this is located through their car park at the rear. All records for every individual are kept confidential and this company is a part of the NHS. I recommend this place to all locals to use as the staff are very caring and kind.

Because everyone is calling, you're left just calling back - which takes time and can easily run into 50, 60 calls. Also, they don't allow you to order a repeat prescription by phone. So, you've got to go to the surgery, which takes time, wait 48h for the script to be prepared and then go back and collect it, which is just a bit backwards when a call could save a journey and hours of time. I was given this doctor by Uni - I'd advise moving if you have the choice.

Worst GP surgery I have ever experienced. Found it near impossible to get hold of a repeat…read moreprescription as they kept sending it to either the wrong place or forgetting to request it at all. The young female receptionist is incredibly rude and hung up on me multiple times throughout my time there, I always dreaded her answering the phone. The doctors kept blowing me off saying nothing was wrong as far as they could tell/too young for medication so ended up having to go privately to get listened to and got told I should of been treated years ago for my problem. My advice, do not choose this surgery.

This small GP Surgery has two perminent doctors, but they also bring in a locum every now and again…read morewhen needed. The two perminent doctors are Dr. (Mrs) K. Hasan and Dr (Mr) A. W. Sabir. The surgery is one of two in the area, and although the practice looks a little run down (check the photo to see what I mean), this isn't reflective of the level of healthcare that you can expect here. This is a good surgery! A lot of the patients are drawn from the foreign student population in the area, but it is also popular with UK students as well. I'm unsure whether they offer any special facilities for students (like some of the other surgeries do in the neighbouring areas of Roath and Heath), but I guess that all of their patients needs are met regardless.

Nobody wanted to give me an appointment so it had to be during walk-in hours 8:30am-11am (Mon-Fri). This was on a Friday. I came back the next week on Wednesday, having booked the morning off work and spent money to get up there to find out that I can't get my blood test done because whoever takes it is off work for another 8 days. I felt angry at the incompetence of staff who could have let me know this beforehand! I then asked for an appointment after the 8 days and the receptionist again dodged my question and told me to come back after the 8 days. Bearing in mind that any time I go to a walk-in (Mon-Fri) I wait for someone to see me from 1 to 2.5 hours!
