Lack of hand and face towels. Hotel guests have to pay for a beach umbrella? - ridiculous! This would have been a complimentary. We're not allowed to have 2 towels for a beach or pool day! The staff was asked for a beach chair and seems don't wanna give us one! WTH?! No elevators/lift... be sure your website says so. Breakfast buffet that was included in the booking sucks! It's cheap- corned beef, viena sausage. Not a lot of fruit selections (only water melon, cantaloup & papaya, I asked for mangos, twice in consecutive breakfasts in our 3 days of stay, said they are out! No one cares and takes note of it. No liquid coffee creamer. A local fresh milk Alaska brand or Magnolia would have been heaven! Highly NOT recommended

But overall a lot of fun and beautiful scenery. This place is privately owned so it's by reservation only from their Facebook page for now. This place is all the way up in the mountains and off of the main road so it might be hard to find unless you know someone who knows the area. But it makes me feel more adventurous and exciting when you do get there. Especially for a city American girl like me, it was fun going through the trees and mountains and forest. Once you get here you'll realize it's sorta kinda like a fancy camping ground with lots of activities. Great for the outdoorsy adventurous type. It's a camp ground where you or you can rent a cute little hut or cottage which has a simple bed with a bug net, a fan, and towels. Nice little basic necessities. I love the native ambiance of the furniture and you get to sleep in a hut. There are also shared toilets and showers which were clean and well maintained. This makes it a great place for locals and backpackers. Lots of groups, big groups, come here for family parties and gatherings. There are a ton of activities such as hiking, 4 swimming pool areas, a single swimming slide, zip lining, fishing for tilapia in one of their tiny fishing ponds, and even a golfing/driving range! Lots of areas to relax in , lots of seating and grassy areas, a hammock area to lack back and relax and a beautiful small Infiniti "spa" overlooking the subic bay which is great for watching the sunrise and sunset.

Rueben sandwich was mediocre, meat was really dry and old. Spaghetti had a spoiled after taste. After speaking to other guests they recommend only the filipino menu. Sinigang na baboy, sisig, tinola, sweet & sour chicken, and lechon kawali were all great and authentic! Prices were comparable to traditional local restaurants (max and barrio fiesta) however the portions were very generous. SO...only order Filipino food. Local beer (San Miguel Light) was dirt cheap at 80 pesos. Located right on the beach with stunning view but further down the stretch of beach is dirty with trash on the shore.

Needless to say I was upset and just told them to take it away and I didn't eat anything. Left hungry and upset. Why is it so difficult to get hot fresh food nowadays?

Dogs barking, people slamming doors at all hours of the night, uncomfortable bed, loud kids in the hallway, loud guests either drunk or oversized. The pool needs cleaning. The property isn't connected to beachside. They use old lock and key system. You are issued 2 keys. One for the room, one for the back gate. Technology hasn't caught up. Some is COVID driven. Limited amenities. Plus you get "fined" for bringing outside food on property when the kitchen is not 24-7 and town is curfew status. Security is adequate. At both parking lot and back gate. 1 elevator for 6 floors. I just saw one of the bar assistants mix ice tea and double tested with the same spoon. I'm glad I'm not a food and health inspector. The rooms are old. Shower only. 2 towels for shower, 2 towels for swimming. Nothing on the room modernized. Curtains are not black out. Dressers barely slide open. 3 remotes for outdated DVD player, TV, and cable box. No instructions or channel guide. AC unit works overtime due to sun exposure in the room. Windows are filthy from lack of cleaning. Mirror in the bathroom has mold spots embedded. Cooks prepare local cuisine well. Not so much on the international fare. Inflated prices for average menu. Staff is friendly. Service car driver was good. Beach is clean. Hotel property is somewhat groomed in the common areas. This place is perfect for the average filipino family vacation that lives in the middle of the island. One functional pool table. 2 cues. Outdoor seating is in abundance with some comfortable stools and chairs. This "resort" is not 4 star. It's not even a resort. Only partial catering optional. I tried this place word of mouth. Not seeing the appeal. . . If you do stay, many better eateries to choose from in other hotels and our in town. Wild Herbs next to Dynamite Dicks was some.of the best Thai food I have eaten, ever. Sit-n-bull has a good menu options that is flavorful and affordable. Trike arable at the parking lot entrance.

To be fair, we didn't bring this to the attention of the front desk because the hassle of trying to get it fixed would have been worse than just dealing with it. There was a large cockroach in our bathroom. The bathroom sink leaked. There is a WINDOW from the bathroom to the rest of the room with shutter style doors that really didn't do a great job of covering the opening. It made showering interesting for our family. The food is mediocre at best. The beach is dirty and covered in trash. There are souvenir vendors on the beach who can be aggressive at times (though others are very nice and respectful). There is a live band in the Barefoot Bar by the beach. This sounds nice and all until it is 11:00 at night and your children are still awake due to the loud music reverberating through your room. Also, the Barefoot Bar is on the beach and is a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset - until the loud band starts and makes it impossible to talk to someone sitting next to you and ruins the mood entirely. The hotel is located in what feels like a sketchy part of Olongapo. It is basically the red light district. The list for the positive aspects is shorter a the pool is nice and the staff are very kind and friendly. Unfortunately, these two positive attributes don't make up for the long list of negative attributes. This was not a relaxing time at the beach. This was something that we endured until it was over. I will not stay here again in the future. The hotel needs a major renovation, the beach needs daily cleaning, and please for the love of all things holy, turn the music down in the bar so my kids can sleep. UPDATE - I have reduced this review to one star and would give zero stars if possible - there was an open prostitution deal that happened on the porch of the room next to us in our full view and in the earshot of our children. This also occurred after bribing the security guard - also in front of us. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE. THIS IS A DANGEROUS, SEEDY, DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT THAT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
